“It's never a bad day when I come home to you”
This book was so sweet. Nash isn't out, and set in his ways thinking he is following his dad's footsteps. But it's just hindering who he actually is and hiding himself from his friends and community.
Mason lights him up, and though their relationship starts as a secret, the chemistry shines through.
It's wholesome with a side of spice.
I read the third baseman prior to this, so I'm familiar with some of the characters in this world already.
That being said.... Easy low angst nanny single dad romance. Love the bromance of the Tuesday club!
Very insta love between them.
Lots and lots of family and support for surprise single dad Murray.
I appreciate that the author stayed true to the characters, and their back stories.
Leo pined so hard for Will who said Time and time again he didn't want monogamous relationship. But Leo held out so much hope and expectations for him to change his mind.
I appreciate that Will kind of stuck to his truth about it while compromising in the end.
I think this was a HFN ending which is ok for both characters
This was very raw, and full of angst and emotion.
I very much hated Colin in book 1, he was awful to Daniel. But after getting to know him in this book... my heart breaks for him. I'm so sympathetic and I get it. It wasn't right, but I get it and I just want to wrap him in a hug and never let go.
Colin is very closeted to the point he can't even admit to himself he's gay. Rafael is so patient and understanding with him - I don't know how he did it. He saw into Colin's heart and just knew there was some good in there.
I love this series and love this author. The writing is fantastic and I can't say enough good things. This is such an easy read.
My sweet sweet lucky Ace. He's so funny. Once he learns he didn't please Payton as well as he thought during their ONS, he is determined to get a second chance to prove he knows what he's doing.
Which then turns into FWB because of baseball superstitions...
The chemistry was amazing. The female friendships Payton had - all the ladies supporting each other.
3.5 rounded up
Age gap, forbidden romance, best friends mom.
The first half was great. It was spicy and fast paced. The second half slowed down I think. But can't exactly point out why.
I loved both characters - flaws and all.
Erin just wants to be the best mom for her daughter, but after the divorce wants to be selfish and have something that's just for her. And that's Cassie.
They compliment each other well. Both are confident and basass in their own ways, and push each other out of their comfort zones a little.
I agree with others comments that the “I didn't realize my feelings until it was pointed out to me” seems lazy, but if this was an MF romance and the MMC did the same I personally let it go. So I'm doing the same thing here.
I enjoyed this. One of the better MM I've read lately.
I would have killed for a dual POV, even just the occasional chapter.
I needed more of Rex and his thoughts. He was so burly and honest. Big mountain lumberjack.
Coming across professor daniel after getting into an accident in the woods.
Very much opposites, but there was an instant connection. They complimented each other well I think, and rex is such a softie.
The pining, the lies, the tragedy.
A solid 3.5 stars
Juliet is a complicated character. No way is she perfect but she is doing the best she can with her situation. She feels so guilty and responsible for so much, and she does whatever necessary to protect Luke.
Luke has loved Juliet, his best friends girlfriend, since the moment he saw her. But he had to wait. And wait some more. The patience of this man is astounding.
This was good, and mildly entertaining.
I enjoyed seeing the characters from the devil series in there!
Addicted to this universe.
Lola has a heartbreaking past, but is soooo slowly getting to know and trust this new pack.
She is scared of alpha's but grows close with this pack's beta and omega.
The spice and the moving parts of it all are chefs kiss.
I feel like I love every single character so much. Everyone has their own unique personality traits that pop up and gah. Can I be part of this pack??
Absolutely fabulous book to enter into the omegaverse.
I went in blind and with an open mind and honestly so thrilled with this book. It was fun, it was smutty as HECK, mild drama and excitement.
Read if you like RH or why choose, omegaverse, MC, and found family.
Sassy heroine, and her alpha's bending over backwards to please her. Baby is a new omega, looking to find her pack.
This is very character based with multiple peoples POV, and the back and forth between their real name and MC name got a little confusing
I mean... I finished it but wished I didn't.
This was a workplace, fake dating, grumpy sunshine romance. Which is usually right up my alley but this missed the mark for me.
Chloe's bar for like common decency in men was on the ground. He did one decent thing and she is like my heart can't handle it. I felt she was really annoying and naive.
Barrett was a typical CEO grumpy man. Focused on the deal. Will do anything for the deal. Fake date a woman and then fall in love with her...
The Spicy scenes were good but overall not great
Such a highly anticipated read, and I loved it.
We meet Maddie as an adult, who falls for her physical therapist.
Reading the description made me think this would be more taboo, but the romance didn't start until after she was no longer a patient.
Maddie is used to people leaving her, and she is haunted by her past. So is James. They similar ghosts of lost dreams and betrayals so they form an easy friendship.
James and his glassesssssss and his dirty talk. fans myself
I liked seeing grace and cal from the first book, older but still the same.
Really done well, and touches on sensitive topics with kindness and care. The talk of mental health and therapy was also done well.
Really enjoyed this
I found this book so delightful. Quinn is such a sweetheart. So bashful and stumbles over his words around Vance at first.
Vance is the teams physiotherapist so he needs to keep things professional. When he learns Quinn has a crush on him too, he finally realizes there is a chance. And then it all goes up from here.
Super happy and fun story.
Seriously in love with this author. She writes the most genuine and complex characters.
Like yes this is a romance novel but each character is so well built, their back story, their development throughout the story. 10/10
Finn and Jenna are both super casual sex lovers. Jenna is in town for a couple months after travelling and needs a place to stay. Finn offers his spare room on a whim, and that's it.
Jenna wants to bang him, but Finn doesn't think once will be enough. He is known for one night only so he is trying to be her friend. Until they can no longer resist the push and pull of the chemistry.
The banter, and flirting, and temptation was all top notch. It was so fun to explore these two and watch them grow as individuals.
This was such a fun read! I didn't stop smiling the whole time.
So much will they won't they, it was amazing.
Chemistry off the charts
Theo is a cinnamon role of a human and I want to protect him forever.
Spicy scenes when they happen are amazing. “Slow burn” to get there but it's just angst and anticipation. They are so so so hot
An exciting and dramatic small town romantic suspense.
Wren and Holt grew up together, and were madly in love. At 18, tragedy struck, and Holt left town for 10 years.
When he comes back, memories resurface. Both try to move on but they still loved each other.
They both got a second chance at love, and a chance to heal old wounds.
This town is small but has the flare for the drama and excitement. Never a quiet moment in Cedar Ridge
Enjoyed this exciting beginning. This is a new author to me and I was enamoured with the writing.
