A great conclusion to an adventurous and sweet wolf shifter romance series!
I was always intrigued by Doc and Damien, so really happy with their story. It had the right amount of adventure and romance.
I enjoyed seeing Rick’s POV for a chapter or two, and I felt This book really wrapped things up nicely.
I really enjoyed this!!!
Robbie is deaf, a professed at the local college. and Thom is dyslexic with ADHD, and a total gym himbo with a heart of gold.
Robbie has a rule against not dating someone who can hear, but Thom was just so hot it was painful. And I think he saw that Thom was TRYING. To be communicative, and to help Robbie at the gym. He was never condescending or dismissive.
I think the disabilities were spoken about really well and don’t respectively. I loved how well Thom fit into robbie’s family
Flew through this one, but I fear it’s because I skimmed a bit too much.
I looooooved little Newt. He was the sweetest little boy.
Isaac is a wonderful protective older brother to Newt, and really did his best to give them a normal love despite basically being on the run.
Maddox is a retired veteran with PTSD, trying to reconcile with his brother from their past. He sees Isaac and assumes trouble.
Both were so suspicious of the other, and it took a lot to break down the walls and guards, for them to earn that trust. They both found themselves interloped into Dallas and Nolan’s found family sanctuary, and once they had a stable home with a warm roof, I think both Maddox and Isaac (despite being resistant to help) felt nurtured and cared for in some way.
I was bored during some parts, but I loved the brotherly bond between Isaac and newt.
Everyone in this small town other than Dallas and Nolan are bat shit crazy. Like no wonder they both wanted to get the hell out of there.
There was suuuuch good romance in this!! Both broken and defeated souls, just trying to make it through the day. An unlikely pair, but the perfect one at the end of it.
I felt like there was a huge info dump at the end, assuming leading toward future books the series, but it felt like we were concluding and then bam bam bam 300 other side characters and their stories
This was so sweet! I love the way this authour writes. It’s easy, and flows so well.
Jesse and Brayden were a surprise meeting, summer fling, turned into more.
They were exactly what the other needed from them and fit together perfectly.
I wished we saw Jesse meeting Brayden’s family or at least brother… but still so enjoyable
The PINING AND YEARNING!!!! James is a professional yearner at this point in his life.
This series is just so cozy and full of all the small town goodness.
I think I wanted a touch more of the romance. I felt like Maddie’s feelings for James were like. A blink, a smack in the face; and realizing she loves him.
It was overall super fun and sweet. He creates a whole ass restaurant just for her 🥺
I think there was too much story with Felix and Christian, and not enough Nico. I needed more of them falling in love. There was a TON of pining on Nico’s side; but we had too much of the secret affair with this 42 year old man.
Nico…. My sweet Italian puppy. He deserved a lot better than Felix that’s for sure. Felix redeemed himself at the end; but overall was too bratty and entitled.
Both Nico and Felix have daddy issues, but very different coping mechanisms.
I think we didn’t get enough of the “rivals”. They were competitors in the same circle for years, they both aspired to be as good as the other, but Felix simply was territorial when Nico came into his company. Nico just wanted to dance with Felix 🥺
I really did like this, but I felt like there was more buildup than what actually happened.
We get like. Andrew’s plan for this revenge plot and ruining his family, and then just doesn’t. I get that he goes back for Jude but it seemed like the whole story was leading up to this grand master plan that he just didn’t do.
We also learn at the end Jude has a personality or bi-polar disorder but nothing in the book hinted at that. He had these big frazzled moments but they didn’t seem out of the ordinary to me considering the context he was in.
All of that to say, I love this author deeply - terrific writing.
They both found safety and home in each other despite their differences.

I really really enjoyed this, but I hate cheating!!!!
I wish Raphael broke up with his fiancee before doing anything with Jaehyun. Be curious, but be honest about it with the person who is assuming you are committed.
Jae was so sweet, and I just want to cuddle him up into a blanket burrito and protect him from all the bad things in the world.
I wasn’t ok with raphael justifying the cheating and how he KNEW he had to tell her but kept putting it off to “do it in person” which is an easy cop out.
And then the third act conflict. I hate accidental pregnancy, and I didn’t think it added anything to the story other than to push a TAB.
When they were together and sweet, talking about their feelings, it was wonderful. It was angsty and sweet. I want all the good things for Jaehyun
Marcus!!!! I loved getting to know more about our fav awkward and manner obsessed enforcer. He’s been so strait laced and proper in previous books, so seeing him be sweet and blushing was fun.
And how his mate is human!!! Very interesting.
I loved the differences between them and how human Robson was more “alpha” than wolf shifter Marcus.
My heart is so happy. I adored Elliot in previous books, and this did more than deliver.
He is so damn sweet and loveable. He feels big feelings and is completely adorable. Definition of a golden retriever.
Hunter. Stoic and strong. Kind and understanding. While gruff on the outside, our firefighter lieutenant is infatuated with sweet Elliot. As he should be.
I loved their relationship, and how Hunter became a space space which allowed Elliot to be so unapologetic about his excitement, and later found out his ADHD.
Well worth the wait, and I’m so happy Elliot got his partner and his happily ever after.
I wanted to like this based on the cover and the concept, but fell flat.
It felt almost historical (with all the house staff involved) and almost British English even though based in NYC? I think?
I think I did not vibe with the writing style. And the characters “conflict” was essentially being seen as a cliche to their society.
Was all a bit blah for me
I love this authour, and the two previous books were easy 5star reads but this unfortunately was not. It was generally good, but I was not obsessed.
Oakley pined for a LONG time, and avoided his feelings for his childhood best friend Lawson.
After his divorce, Lawson dragged his best friend back to town because he needed him. Just like that. No regard for his life or plans or whatever, it was “we’re moving you back today” and that was that.
I felt like Lawson always called the shots; even with sex he was the only one who initiated (which in some regard is fair because he was discovering himself and his gay-awakening).
The asexual topic was confusing? I understand sexuality is fluid and there is no one flat out answer, but I think Oakley and Lawson felt overly determined to label Lawson sexuality. Throwing out lots of terms “gray-ace” etc just to make something fit for him.
I’m eager to read about the final darling brother!
This was adorable, filthy, charming, and sexy.
While the 2 MMC’s families were meddling match makers, I do think George and Alex make a sweet pair. Two peas <3
Alex was suave, charming, with a silver tongue (phenomenal dirty talk). George was proper, anxious, with a bit of a bite.
Their teasing and gentle bullying was foreplay, and Alex like to pushed George’s buttons just so he would give him attention. (Immature, yes. But adorable because George liked it)
Both scared to trust themselves and let their guards down; it was an insta love summer campy romance.
enjoyed this but I did feel like I skimmed the last 30% or so :(
I liked Kai a lot, and he was a sweetheart, and Rick was a very classic alpha, but I thought they were good together.
Kai and his siblings plus Rick were its own drama dynamic but there was also a lot of outside third party drama that kind of took away from their relationship
