This was fun and surprisingly suspenseful at a certain point!
At first it was cutesy and tense, but I did not see the suspenseful twist coming.
I loved Oz I thought he was so cute, and just authentically himself.
Jake I have soooo curious about since the first book, and why he was so weird and secretive (finally we find out why!!)
It was wild and twisty; but a superb HEA. I loved Jake talking to Boo as if that little dog was a person who could talk back
This felt all over the place.
Ethan and Creed’s relationship, we just got “told” they loved each other but we weren’t shown it.
There was so many random things that were heavily explained that didn’t seem to have a purpose other than filler. (Creed’s cousins only fans type page). Lots of hockey teammates to keep track of that didn’t really get past surface level so was weird.
I enjoyed Jakub Ethan and Creed as a unit, though it was all insta love seemingly. Creed and Jakub were shy at first but then went of course I’ll love and marry you!
Novi was so damn funny the entire time. I loved how he tried to trick people into thinking he didn’t really understand English all that well and how he probably had RBF, but to him he was smiling and extremely happy.
Novi and Ezra being besties was hilarious, we had a lot of great moments of past characters and the collective
Devastating, and tragic
There was no justice for what Billy did :(
I’m so glad Aiden got his happy ending. After meeting him in the previous book, he seemed very happy go lucky and affectionate. We learned more about his past trauma, and kind of saw him grow into himself and be free with Ash.
Ash is shy and reluctant at first but the two slowly become friends, after Aiden frequents the coffee shop he works at for his daily dose of caffeine and ash.
Ash also has a tragic past, and it’s easy to say from the outside how you want to shake him to make the “right choice” but as a victim, he was just trying to stay alive.
Aiden and Ash found peace with each other
This was oh so good. It wasn’t so much forbidden as it was secret.
I loved the secret meet up, with the blindfolds and lights off.
It was “twin brothers best friends” but the brother didn’t have a huge reaction to it, as the MC assumed he would
The sex was fun, and while Gabe was being wildly possessive he was still sweet.
I did not vibe with this. The MC’s felt so fake and cheesy in the worst way. I know I’m reading a romance book but it felt wildly over exaggerated. Nobody talks like that in real life about how they are so perfect all the time.
They were “best friends” (only knew each other for like maybe 2 years) but like neither really found the other attractive at all, or thought to do anything about it until the kiss cam.
Yes men and women can be friends but it went from platonic to “she’s perfect and everything and mine” overnight. It felt weird.
I really enjoyed this second chance romance!
I think a lot happened on the camping/hiking/outdoor adventure that perhaps was not appropriate so close to the kids (outbursts and attitude, also the frolic in the forest)
Both Bennett and Xander were hurt and stubborn, but it was sweet to see that after so much time had passed they still had their fond memories and inside jokes. Once they got over themselves and tried to forget the past, it was a quick and easy comfort for them being close again.
This was so unique and fun!
The chemistry was off the charts, and I wish I had more of this.
Even just an epilogue of their life into their relationship but overall super good.
Lots of spice and steam, and all that fun cutesy stuff we love. New to me author and been on my TBR for a while but enjoyed this a lot.
This was dark, wild, and spicy.
Very tense, but the forbidden age gap (30 yrs) as coach x student was insane and hot
While Bryant was super dominant and “punishing”, he still had a super tender heart once they finally admitted feelings.
Jack was a brat, and purposefully did things to get punished but it was all consensual
This completely delivered! If Carter was a golden retriever, his tail would be non stop wagging around Sophia.
He was a total simp, down bad for her. I absolutely loved it. She deserves that and more.
The drama in her life was sooooo much between her ex, mother, brother, and ex’s fiancé, her job, how she managed to be a functioning woman and parent - I applaud her immensely.
Carter is a cutie, completely obsessed with his girl. Not as crazy as his older brothers, but the man still got what he wanted
It was so fucking fun and charming.
It was fun to see the Vitale brothers again, but I had hoped for more from Tony (the boss’ second in command)
It was VERY kinky but it felt all over the place. Like. The kinks were just sprinkled in here and here (rope, water sports, daddy/toy)
Definitely some Stockholm syndrome going on as well. Tony is VERY possessive.
Caleb was chaotic and charming, but his MC club was amateur hour. Total of what…6 guys? Very small, and it was like. Robin Hood. Stealing drugs and “giving it all back” to churches and donating it.
I really enjoyed this!!! New to me author, and pleasantly surprised.
While Egon and Rake are completely codependent, I liked how obsessive they were with the other.
I think Egon forgave Rake WAYYY too easily, but I loved their chemistry.
Egon definitely gave some himbo energy, but he wasn’t unintelligent. He was such a sweetie, and just a big soft teddy who loved to be praised.
THE ANGST!!!!! And PINING!!!!!!!
I enjoyed this. Alec is such a little button. I wanted to give him a hug, and keep him in a little burrito blanket to take with me everywhere. Athletic burnout (and just regular burnout) was so real with him. I think he got used to making people laugh and happy, and forgot about himself for a bit.
Alec has a wonderful family and such supportive brothers. 🫶🏻
While Theo is very flawed, I didn’t hate him. He’s traumatized from his past, but I don’t think it excuses his behaviour.
I think Theo and Alec are yin and yang - opposites but fit perfectly together.
Neither wanted to change the other, but somehow they worked.
