Jay is the perfect and sweetest sunshine little button kitten My teeth are aching from how sweet he is
Mesmerized but the smallest things, wears the wackiest clothing combos just because bright colours and fun and fabrics are soft. He’s too pure for this world and must be protected at all costs
I love how needy for affection he was; and how Alexei was just right there to give it. He never thought he was silly, just pure adoration for sweet little jay
VERY good but VERY long. This felt like a duet made into a standalone
There was nothing that needed to be cut - no filler or fluffy parts, absolutely everything was relevant, just a very long story.
This was so incredibly fun and interesting!!
I loved the arranged marriage to the sort of enemy, and the magic paranormal elements
Great banter, and the claiming???? A touch of vampires if you will.
The ending was good, it all tied together well without major shock value and confusing loose ends
I loveeeeed Jason. He was the cutest little baby alpha. Vale’s garden 🥺
The alpha being younger than the omega was an interesting concept!! Enjoyed the different than normal story arc
They had their own term for “fated mates” and I felt like it was almost in a dystopian world, kind of modern contemporary. I couldn’t decide.
-1 star for the medical terms during ~sexy~ times
So so cute.
I loooove himbo sunshine x grumpy black cat energy
Im glade that Roman got his HEA. And Dex’s bi-awakening was so chill it wasn’t even a big deal which I loved
Rome definitely had his flaws, and both he and Dex were down bad for the other but didn’t really communicate that, which caused tension. But it was entertaining, and I love them both dearly. It was sweet to see the past characters pop in as well.
This was exactly what I didn’t know I needed in my life 🧛
A contemporary paranormal vampire MM romance
It was cute, fun, spicy, and intriguing.
I looooved Danny. He was as sweet as pie.
And Roman was suave vampire, instantly infatuated with his little king.
The side characters were great too, and I expect will be just as fun with their stories
The majority of this book was Anson struggling with his sexuality and having the secret relationship with Weston. While it was not BAD, it was not quite what I was looking for.
It was stolen moments, heat and desire, and struggling with accepting yourself.
I didn’t see as much romance as I wanted, but I enjoy this authour, and I enjoyed watching Weston and Anson grow together as a couple who are each in the spotlight.
If she writes it, I’m reading it.
I love this authour’s writing - it’s perfectly descriptive, I feel all the feels, and it’s like I’m there.
Coach x team owner’s daughter was SO fun. I loved coach Tate and Jordan.
Their banter was cheeky, the mutual crushing on the other, Tate secretly providing for Jordan and never wanting to take credit - just take care of her.
It was nice to see the other couples from previous books as well, and finally get to know more about our super bartender Jordan
I feel like every one of the men in this series had such bad trauma, I almost was desensitized to it by the end of this.
I didn’t feel like there was any relationship build up, Theo just kept changing the rules and boundaries and Lincoln was along for the ride because he instantly loved him.
I believe Lincoln had his “nurse hat” on and cared for Theo as a human who was suffering, but the “as soon as I saw you I knew you were mine” I didn’t believe in.
I think it was fine, just not quite enough for me.
I didn’t really believe the insta love that happened.
The characters just kind of said it with minimal interactions between them and we were just expected to roll with it.
Both characters had traumatic pasts, and found themselves in the sanctuary to heal with their chosen family (however reluctant they were to be there).
I adored this - I was hooked from the start, and was consistently entertained.
I loved the dynamic between Maxim and Wren.
Wren is such a cutie pie, with his innocent eyes and darling curls.
Maxim is a rough and tough “business man” who is infatuated with Wren immediately.
Despite the power dynamic differences, I do think maxim always told wren truthfully how he felt and what he needed from him. There may have been some lies by omission, but overall he was truthful.
Didn’t realize it was a duet so onto the next part immediately!!
Really enjoyed this! Riley was the sweetest little golden retriever himbo, he was so silly.
Harper is his new live-in aide/caregiver to assist with Riley’s vision impairment.
I liked how Riley having his bi-awakening wasn’t really a big deal to him. It was just a simple “oh. I’m attracted to this person that’s all there is to it”.
Neither ford or cam were perfect, both had their issues and insecurities, but I’m happy they got their shit together.
Cam was reluctant to start anything with Ford, as his previous ex was closeted and refused to come out. He didn’t want that again (fair)
Ford was raised in an abusive and heavily religious household where having gay thoughts was a terrible sin, he’s the devil, etc etc. So he was scared to go against his family and come out. (Understandable)
Ford always felt so guilty every time he got close to Cam, if it was touches, glances, or kisses. He immediately was apologetic and regretful. I felt bad for Cam, because we could see how much Ford was struggling and Cam had protective feelings him. But you can only help someone if they want to help themself.
Cam didn’t give up on Ford, and they got their HEA with a big happy and unconventional family.
Definitely not in the majority for this…. Despite enjoying the authors previous books this was NOT it for me.
Maddie was insufferably annoying. Felt too much like she was the “cool girl” or trying to BE the cool girl that every guy thinks they want. She hated Luca before ever meeting him (the reason why was found out very late in the book and was so dumb). She meets him in person but despite him being extremely famous, she doesn’t recognize him because he has a 3 day old beard??? What??? She’s stubborn as hell and once realizing who he is must sticks to her hating guns without second thought despite having a perfectly normal and flirty night.
Luca was very insta love and well in very quick. I want to believe it but I don’t know if I do.
Maddie’s friend group is large and also annoying. Lots of Easter eggs for future book characters but I didn’t enjoy or respect any of them enough to care to continue.
This was so beautifully written, and a completely lovely poetic story.
There are ups and downs, healing and grief, dark times and lightness… we see through Torey’s eyes losing and them loving himself again.
Torey and Blair are so beautifully done - their love and bond is strong through this lifetime and the next
