This was fun

It's been a long time since I've read a book that made me cry.

This LINE : Farewell. I'll tell Mare about you. She always wanted a daughter. Also Kelsier (who hates nobles!!) SAVES Elend because he knows Vin loves him??? It's the little things!!! It made me so emotional oh my god.

DNF 50% Not the kind of book I need right now

I think this book was unnecessary. The second book was okay but definitely not as good and interesting as the first one.

I didn't want it to ennnnnd

Such a great conclusion to this beautiful and magical story

I was super excited to read this new book by Goldy Moldavsky as I adored her first two books. At first, I was a bit perplex because I was hoping to find her dark humour again in this story. It was a totally different tone from her previous books but that's ok, I didn't mind all that much, I liked her writing.

Nevertheless this book fell short for me, I just wasn't convinced by this ending. It didn't blow my mind. The rest of the book was not that exciting. I thought it was just ok, so that's why I put all my hopes into the last part of the book...

I loved that Loki was always somehow involved in all the gods drama haha

Oh my. It took me more than a month to finish this book, wth. Not because it wasn't good, but mostly because life kept me busy...

This was a great conclusion to an epic trilogy. There was a lot going on and many people died, that was kind of sad... (but I secretly like it when author are cruel with their characters... what does it say about me?)

I will definetly keep this author under my radar for her next books!

I read this book in one sitting. I loved everything about it. The plot revealed itself to be far more complex than I had imagined it to be and it was excellent. What an epic conclusion to a compelling duology!

This book didn't really impressed me for the most part, it felt a bit generic. But by the end of the story, I was hooked and I finally felt more attached to the characters. The reveal at the end was kinda cool!

The writing was too poetic and flowery. It just wasn't for me.

I just love how Blake Crouch can find a simple concept (here, the memories) and take it to the next level. Like the apocalypse/end-of-the-world level.

A story that was a bit too character-driven for me. I would have liked more plot but overall I still enjoyed it.

Juste : wow.

I chose this book because I felt it would be the perfect christmas read! I'm not necessarily a “mood reader” but sometimes I like picking up books that matches the season. This one seemed delightful and funny and cute so of course, I read it as soon as December came, ahah.

It was indeed cute and funny but I thought I would be more into it than I actually was. Mainly, I didn't connect with the characters... The concept of blind dates was nice but didn't save all the book for me. I don't know, this story didn't grab my attention and I'm so sad because I had all these expectations!

Maybe it's relevant to add that I'm not usually a contemporary reader? I guess this one wasn't the exception.

Everything about this series is so... smart??? The story was so ingeniously crafted down to the last book. This conclusion was really satisfying and full of surprises and emotion! I was a little bit less shocked by the plot twists in this book than in the others, so that's why it's probably not my favorite. (not because it was predictable!!) (I can assure you: IT! WAS! NOT!) I can't really explain why though. It was just an overall feeling, maybe it's because it's the third book and the story doesn't have that “spark” of novelty anymore.

And that last sentence. I never say no to a good punch in the feels.

A satisfying conclusion to a wonderful trilogy. Vasya has definitely become one of my all-time favorite characters. She has grown so much throughout the books and I loved her evolution to become a true witch in this one.

That ending was so heartbreaking and heartwarming, all at the same time!! Gosh I loved it.

Actual rating : 4,5/5
That. Was. Awesome.
Perfect read for October. I'm not used to short stories like that but it's actually a great format and an interesting alternative when you don't have a lot of time to read.
I really liked the concept (everytime Molly bleeds, another molly appears and tries to kill her) and the dark atmosphere. Molly was an interesting character for sure !

SO GOOD. This book was so so good. And magical and heartbreaking and gorgeous.
Vasya is my hero.

This book was PHENOMENAL

“That is the way of being a woman, to carve away at herself, to fit herself to the task, but, also, to be able to carve herself in a different way, when a different shape is needed”

A hard book to read and even harder to rate. I like books that make such bold statements though it made me feel sick reading bits of it (the majority of it tbh).

It could have been a five-star read unfortunately I found it quite predictable from the very beginning. And the ending was satisfying but... Not enough for me considering all the horrible things that happened to Ama! I wanted more.

Apart from that, I loved the writing. It reads like a fairy tale. Also, this book is highly quotable.

An ok read for me. The ending was worth it, though.

An epic ending for an epic series. What a ride. These books were so fast-paced and addictive. I love them so much. I'll admit, my favorite remains Gemina.

I may have enjoyed Illuminae and Gemina more than Obsidio, but it doesn't mean this book wasn't as good as the others. It's just the plot that didn't appeal to me as much, but really, there was some great and memorable scenes in this one too.

I just wish that more people died (and by people, I mean, IMPORTANT ones, not just side characters that were clearly expendable from the beginning).

It took me some time to finish this re-read but it has absolutely nothing to do with how AWESOME this book is. I adore Gemina so much, I think even a little bit more than Illuminae??

I mean. ALIENS. I love it. And space pirates. And so so so much more.

This book has my all-time favorite fight scene in it (I'm obviously talking about the fight between Hanna and Kali). Just to think about it... I get the chills. THE BEST.
