I thoroughly enjoyed this middle grade locked room mystery. This could honestly read as a YA. I feel as if the characters read as if they were a little bit older than what they were in the book. 

With that being said I loved every twist and turn. I love how the author included mathematics and logic within the storyline to help solve the mystery. With each step, it took them one step closer to their next stop along the way to their destination. 

I enjoyed the banter between the characters and the different aspects that were placed within the book. I loved that one of the kids in the books was an empath. He was more than willing to show the others that it wasn't just a fluke that something was happening. 

I am excited to read more format bus author in the future. 

Due to St. Martins Press refusal to address the remarks made by their employee regarding Palestine, I will not be reviewing this book. 

This on. No way has anything to do with the author. But I refuse to support anything from SMP because of their refusal to address a major issue at hand. 

The love I have for this book and characters is unmatched for a suspenseful mystery. I was drawn in from the very get to and I couldn't stop reading until I knew everything. 

But even when you expect one thing, you  get something totally different. And I loved every twist, turn and snafu that was brought into the plotline. This was definitely going down as one of the most twisted books that I have read. It brought a new meaning to mystery filled with suspense. 

Constantly being on edge is own of my favorite things. And this book served so much on the edge reading and I can't deny I loved it.

I flew through this book. I was hooked from the very beginning. 

I had so many emotions while reading through the series of events throughout the book. I cried, felt so much anger and frustration. I felt grief. I felt the grief that Drew felt. 

I couldn't not put this down long enough to do anything else. It pushed everything else away for the day just so I could finish. And I'm so glad I did. I don't know that I have felt grief for a fictional character like this before but it tore me up inside. 

But please don't let that dissuade you from reading this. I am very empathetic to my characters and I get so emotionally invested. 

This was such a great book. I can't recommend it enough.

When I read the synopsis of the book and saw football and a swoony romance, I knew I had to read it. Little did I know that I would not only devour it, but also fall head over heels for Mads and Blaze. 

Mads and Blaze couldn't have been a better match for each other. I loved their banter and chemistry. When you know you found your person you just know. And these two couldn't have been more perfect for each other. 

I laughed so much throughout this book! I loved Dia as a supporting character and couldn't wait to see more of her within the book. And I can't wait to see that she hopefully has her own book in the series! 

I loved her relationship with Mads and how she wasn't just her best friend. But her sister when she never had one. She filled that role and counteracted Mads when she was having a tough time. She was the perfect yin to Mads yang. 

Throughout the book there were so emotional scenes that I cousltm help but feel engaged in myself. I cried and felt the feelings these characters felt. Or as close to them as I could get. I rooted when the odds weren't the greatest but celebrated when things resolved into the best outcome.

These are the things I felt. The things that brought me so much closer to these characters and everything happening in the world today. So much can change in such a small amount of time. But it doesn't mean there won't be a rainbow at the end of the journey. Nor will everything be horrible. 

Celebrating the small victories is something that everyone should embrace. Iris and Roman did just that. Even when things were at their worst. Spending time together was the ultimate celebration when nothing else seemed to be working in their favor. 

I felt so many emotions while reading through this story. I couldn't help but feel like there was so much more I would have loved to see from Iris and Roman. Along with Attie and Tobias. 

I went through so many emotions and loved every single second. Between wondering where the heck everything was going to downright terror because of where things went. I loved being able to feel the emotions from these pages that these characters so boldly put on display. Even when their emotions weren't helping them. 

I loved this book with my whole heart. I usually sail through a book that I am loving. But I drug this out as long as I could because I didn't want it to end. 

Pick it up and read it. You won't t regret it. 

I started this knowing my friends sang this books praises. I had hope that I would enjoy it. 

I didn't know that I would devour this book and feel it in the depths of my soul. I felt so many emotions along with Iris as she went through this journey. 

I felt how deep the love for Roman went even when she tried to deny how she truly felt.  Iris was such a brave woman who took many risks, but never regretted taking them. I can only imagine the fear of leaving everything you know behind when you no longer have the anchor of family. 

Roman Carver Kitt is the man that so many want to be like and be with. He is a man from a family of new wealth who has expectations of his life. But he wants to write his own story. Not what he is told he has to do. Roman doesn't realize what he has in front of him until Iris walks into his life in the form of another person vying for his role at the gazette. 

I loved their interactions and how their relationship progressed. The love they shared is rare. It's like a gem that should be treasured. 

Not only was the love between our two MCs wonderful the plot was definitely enough to keep me on my toes. You never really knew what was coming up next. And I love that more than anything in a book. I don't want to guess what is happening. It really takes away from the story and characters. 

I absolutely cannot wait to start the next book!! 

This is a big fat no for me. 

I can get into some MM action. I can't get into brothers who double dip on each other in front of corpses. 

I enjoyed this short novel. It packed a punch in a small amount of pages. It was well worth the read. I enjoyed the journey and getting to know more about the characters as the story went on.

I don't know how this book doesn't have at least 4.5 stars. I can see that it can be a little slow going in the first 25% because you aren't completely sure that you can trust the narrator. But it picked up and my mind ran after it. I couldn't stop trying to make sense of everything that was happening. Trying to figure out what did what, was the narrator recalling information as it was, or as they recall it. 

I loved Laura. She is a flawed woman with trauma. She tries to do everything she can to not only find her way of coping but also how to deal with current circumstances. She wanted so much what she wasn't given as a child. Something that every person wants is to be loved for who they are, not what they have done. I can really relatw to Laura in the way that she fell in love with the potential of people. You see what you want to see because you hope that they can be that person for you. Even when they aren't even close. 

I can't lie and say that this book didn't play with my head on so many ways that I fell into every little web that was woven along the way. 

I cannot wait to read more from Wendy and go on some more psychological adventures.

This book hav me so much moe than I bargained for when I picked it up. I thought that it would be a decent thriller. Boy was I wrong. This was a fantastic thriller with amazing twists and turns. 

I never expected for there to be so many complexities that are woven within the storyline. I figured there would be one but there were multiple. 

I loved Robin and how much she brought to the story. I loved her perspective on everything. It gave more perspective than just a one sided storyline.

I loved having multiple POVs because it provided depth. It showed how much of an impact everything was having. It wasn't just the main character and their experience. Though I do think that if there would have been some insight from Kathy that would have blown this story even further out of the water. 

I can't wait to pick up more from Mike and see where he takes me!

I opened this book solely on the cover. I had read the synopsis a while back and knew this would be right up my alley. 

I wasn't wrong. 

I love a good haunted house story with some serious background to it. This definitely had the background. I would have loved to have seen more based on other characters within the story. I think it could have rounded out the story a little more. 

I enjoy the avenues that this book took me on because it took me to different places I expected but also didn't expect. I think if there could have been a bit more communication with some of the characters it would have helped as well. I appreciate the mixed media included because it makes you feel as if you are more included in the story. 

I'm not a huge fan of this being in the third person POV. I think if we could have had a first person POV it would have felt a bit more personal. We could have seen more of her thoughts and went on the journey with her instead of beside her. 

I couldn't get enough of the Rockton series when it released book by book. I couldn't be more excited about what is to come in this new series! 

This is another book that I can add to my I love Kelley Armstrong series that I have read. 

I enjoyed seeing things from Eric's POV, considering it is usually from Casey's. I liked being able to see his thought process as he learned information and saw things he didn't think he would see. 

I especially loved seeing Eric and Casey tie the knot. It was such a sweet moment that they both deserved more than anything. I think that Eric felt as if the marriage helped legitimize him in the eyes of the world. Not just him as Casey. She didn't care about the legality of their marriage. She only cared when it came to being with him forever. 

3.5 ⭐ rounded up

This book was one of the most difficult for me to get through until I got to 62%. Then it was smooth sailing from there. If I didn't have some friends tell me to keep going I would have DNFd the crap out of this book. 

So many things confused me, made me feel like I couldn't reason with what was going and just down right frustrated me. An array of emotions came over me and I don't know how to deal with them while reading this. So much happened. 

This was like making a new friend. Everything is all butterflies, sunshine and rainbows. Then it's the moldy cheese in the fridge that you don't know if you want to just scrape off the moldy part and eat it or just throw it away. 

I'm still a bit confused about the ending and how things happened. Idk if there was supposed to be metaphors for things that happened or if it was just pure horror for funsies. 

I think the last 38% of the book redeemed itself more than I expected. Though I wish there could have been more of a redemption. I think the confusion of everything is what has really thrown me off.

I really enjoyed this sweet romance! I loved being able to see the journey and growth of these two characters. I felt some type of way when they finally were able to admit their feeling and then explore them.

I'm a sucker for Andrew Mayne's writing and the Sloan McPherson storyline. There hasn't been a book yet in this series that I haven't loved. This book is no different. I devoured this book. 

Andrews writing always makes reading this storyline with several moving parts easier to read and enjoy. I'm not one for difficult storylines, but Andrew always makes a more than simple storyline so easy to follow. Not just to follow but fall into full force. Like Sloan, I dive straight into every book and never look back until I come up for air at the end. 

I honestly couldn't love these characters more. Solar is like the surly older man with authority before he even asserts himself. Hughes is the best partner a girl could ask for. Always there to anticipate what she needs even without her saying so. 

This storyline definitely kept me engaged with who everyone new was and their connection to everything. There wasn't a better way for this to be written. 

I hope that you will take a chance and read this!

I am a huge Stan of Andrews. I have read the other books in the series and somehow missed this one. But I am so glad I picked this up. It just reminds me how much I love his writing. 

He always has a twist in the perfect places for the characters that he has so brilliantly crafted. I loved our FMC. She is a woman made of steel and apologizes to no one. She knows what she is doing and refuses to back down from a little bit (or a lot) of danger. 

Our MMC George is the bees knees. I love his personality and how he carries himself. He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to criminals, and refuses to back down. He truly wants to make a difference in the world even though he knows he can't always achieve that goal. 

I am not a huge fan of political, drug related stories but this captivated me from the very beginning. Another reason why I love Andrews writing. He can pull me into a storyline I don't like. And I loved this. 

I can't wait to read the next upcoming book in the series!! 

This is a super short mystery that has a lack of reasoning. There wasn't really a reason for why some things happened but the final ending was explained decently. 

I don't think I would pick up another if this became a series. I think there could have been a little more context to the storyline and it would have felt a bit more fleshed out. Not so rushed.

I absolutely adore Bee. She is the GOALS for all women. She isn't ashamed of her body, and she ain't ashamed of her profession. So many women who are pluz sized struggle with their body type. And I love that she had no qualms about putting her body out there. She showed women and men that plus sized people are the norm. Unlike what society wants us to believe. She breaks those stereotypes by just being who she is. I loved her confidence, her whole personality and who she was. I wish she wouldn't have been as apologetic in circumstances that were out of her control. But I know he's she feels when her gut reaction is to apologize. 

I also loved her moms. They made my heart so happy. They were the parents that so many people dream of having. Supportive no matter what she did. They loved her for her. They made their relationships with her a safe space and fostered her mental health to such a great place. I love the love they had for her. 

Nolan, Nolan, Nolan. I really liked him as a character. Granted he had his flaws. What I enjoyed most about him was how much he loved and supported Bee. He loved her for who she was, and made no apologies until he did. 

I loved this storyline and how everything unfolded. I loved the supporting characters and how much they had a hand in everything. It wasn't just our main characters story. It included others and parts of their journey.

I was expecting some smut in this book but I was not prepared for the depth of emotions that would be involved along the way. 
Riley likes so many other women struggle with their view of themselves. Having the outside input on anything about themselves can be detrimental when they tend to make sure it always has something negative included. I loved Riley as a character. I could relate to her in many ways. She was more than willing to take a chance to see what good could come from a situation she never saw herself in. She embraced herself and her body and had the confidence to speak to someone she normally wouldn't. 
I absolutely fell head over heels for Jace. He was unapologetic about who he was. Jace left everything he knew so that he could be who he felt that he was. He knew what he wanted, and that happened to include Leo and Riley. He knew from the very instance he met Riley that she was meant for him and Leo. He made no qualms about making it known how he felt about her being included in their Christmas celebration. He was vocal and made sure that he was clear and concise with Her and Leo about his wants and needs. 
Leo, oh boy. You handsome man. Leo was a man who knew what he wanted whether he was willing to admit it to himself and anyone else it involved. He needed that experience to really put everything into perspective for him to realize what he had, was what he wanted. 
From reviews that I had seen, I knew there would be some hot scenes. But HOLY GUACAMOLE these scenes were hot AF. Things that happened I had to really try to figure out the logistics of how they would work. And that is when you know you have a good book. When you can figure it out and still see how it could happen. Like a movie playing in your head as you read. 
I've never been a huge fan of MM but this really made me rethink my previous choices. I think dipping your toes in a story like this including a female really helps! 
I can't recommend this enough if you want a smut filled holiday Romance!

I really enjoyed getting to know Rosella! I loved being able to see her growth within this book and how she handled being in a place she wasn't always welcomed. 

If you have ever felt that way then you know those feelings. If you haven't you get a small dose. I lov d her as a character and all fk the feelings she explored throughout the book. 

I loved the adventures she went on and the gusto she had to go through with everything. I appreciated seeing Rosellas family and how they embraced her when she came home. Not everyone has that kind of family and it's refreshing to see. 

I also really enjoyed seeing Orion! He has the spark and challenge that Rosella needs in her life. She has so much that she doesn't want to go back to but Orion gives her a challenge and sass. I can't wait to see what he had to bring to the story! I can't wait to see more of him throughout the series. 

I absolutely devoured this story!! I cannot get enough of Rosella and Orion! Rosella has so many traits that I have and can see how she feels when she is going through things. 

Orion is the perfect yin to her yang and challenges her in ways that others haven't in the past. I love that he gets her to slow down and stop overthinking everything. He gets her to just take it one step at a time. 

There are many times when Ella doesn't really know how to handle certain things and I can totally relate. Which makes her that much more realninstea dof just being another character in a book. 

I can't wait to see what Ella and Ryan get into in the next book! 

The grammatical and spelling errors in this book is sad. There are more than I have ever seen in a finished book. And I feel as if it really took away from the story. I was too busy trying to correct everything for me to really enjoy it. 

I enjoyed the storyline of this book and where it took me. I would have liked the characters more if there had been more of a character for the FMC. I think she could have had more dimension to her. I feel like she wasnt funny like she could have been. 

Ford was a funny guy that had dimension, he had a lot going for him. But with the lack that she brought I feel as if it didn't do the story or relationship justice. 

I think there could have been a better backstory for several things and better explanations for others. I think this story was just lacking in general.

I absolutely loved this short Christmas mystery! The characters were funny, and charming. 

I really loved that animals were included within the storyline. 

I picked this up on a whim and I am so glad. I really enjoyed the banter between all of the characters, the fun they had and the adventure! 

I can't wait to read more in this series!! 

I am a huge lover of Bones the TV show and I have been wanting to read this series for a while. So I figured why not give this Novella a shot and see how it goes. 

It went smashingly! I love the fact of why Kathy brought Tempe to life. Why Kathy does what she does and gives us a glimpse of her job. 

I have always been a girlie who loved Anatomy & Physiology because the human body is an amazing structure. It does Soo much and keeps us going when we are hanging on by a thread. Much like many people who feel as if their rogue justice will really fix whatever is going wrong. 

I love how Tempe really brings in the science to make it make sense. Why people died the way they did, how to bring the why to the how. I absolutely cannot wait to continue this series.
