After many years being concerned about my social media/texting habits, I've finally found a scientific/philosophic demonstration of why many things that most people in my generation take it as “normal” behavior, are simply a destructive way of living life.
Really grateful of having bought and read this book without even thinking twice.
This book is, in so many ways and for many people, a life changing one.
I've been fascinated by the methods provided by the author to literally change our life, and it's just astounding that a deep understanding of out own mind processes was already available in the 60' right before any other new discoveries.
It's a classic, and it must be read and applied.

Un ottimo libro da cui partire per sviluppare una maggiore consapevolezza di sé e delle false problematiche che ci si crea quotidianamente. L'ironia tagliente di Giacobbe permette sempre una lettura leggera, a volte troppo.
Consigliato per chi cerca un'introduzione ad una vita migliore e non ha intenzione di partire in grande, ma a piccoli passi. :)
Libro molto utile per iniziare un percorso introduttivo nell'abito comunicazione persuasiva ed in particolare PNL.
Nonostante l'autore abbia, col tempo, preso le distanze da questa disciplina, risulta comunque una risorsa utile e ricca di spunti per costruire un linguaggio innovativo e funzionale in ogni caso.
Lettura consigliata, ma è necessario approfondire per chi, come me, non basta conoscere le basi e alcune delle tante tecniche neurolinguistiche sviluppate in questa disciplina.

Since I've bought this book I've had many opportunities to acknowledge his personality through the news, but nothing compares to the accuracy of what's said in this book about him other than knowing Elon Musk by person. Hope to read someday a second part.
Un libro contrastate. La maggior parte delle pagine è dedicate agli esempi che dimostrano l'effettività delle sincronicità (o coincidenze), ma comunque riesce ad essere apprezzato per il suo contenuto affrontato con testimonianze di autori e figure eminenti nel campo psicologico, filosofico e spirituale.
Ricco di spunti psicologici dal quale creare una personalità migliore, sia nella vita da solo che in coppia.
Mi ha fatto ricredere molto su questo tema e capire che non è tutto “facile” come potrebbe sembrare.
Forse il linguaggio è troppo semplicistico e avrei preferito spiegazioni più dettagliate dei vari conflitti che si creano nelle personalità nevrotiche, ma è un ottimo punto di inizio per una ricerca a sviluppare rapporti di amicizia, e soprattutto amorosi, più sani.
