Jesse James...Belle Starr...Chief Victorio...Pirate Jean Lafitte...This book is the story of all of these outlaws and many more, thirty in all, who stole from others—money, jewels, gold—and then had to hide their thievings and were never able to return to the places they hid their lootings. These are wonderful folk tales of adventure and lost treasure that kids would love to read. It could inspire some to plan a treasure hunt.
