An Orchard Princess

When I need a comfort read, I can be sure to enjoy Barbour's innocent, idyllic vintage romances! He will take you right to the peaceful pastures and streams where the lovers' angst occurs best (most of his are set outdoors) and give you a front row seat to impossible romance and HEAs. The strong heroes are prone to falling head over heels in love at first sight and then try very hard to impress the fair ladies, who either play coy or pretend to not even notice. The sad thing is, I have only one more owned one to read before I have to try to hunt down other titles online.

This is one of my favorites so far!
