Flower of the North

Whew, that's one fast-paced adventure! A strong thread of mystery runs through the story, from the moment Philip begins to explain to his friend Gregson the circumstances whereby his assistants cheated him of his own company while he was out in the wilderness developing it, all the way to the final showdown where the various threads are solved. He gets a chance to meet a beautiful woman of the Northwoods, unspoiled by civilization, and immediately is ready to become her knight in shining armor, which leads to some enjoyable Quixotisms which very nearly end in disaster, but lend some excellent action to the story.
