Kuolleet linnut eivät laula

This one certainly stands out from the other Flavia books. It's less of a detective piece than the earlier books, but it does a good work shedding light to some of the mysteries in the series, providing lots of background to the characters. It also works as an interesting springboard to new things – I'm really looking forward to the next part in the series.
