Thomasina was especially thrilled when she won a trip to New Zealand as she could take her young half-brother and sister on the holiday of a lifetime and at last would be able to meet her father's old friend, Uncle Eb.
They were given the warmest of welcomes by Uncle Eb. However, Luke Richmond made it clear that he suspected Thomasina's motives for the visit, but why should she care what Luke thought about her?

3.5 stars. Essie Summers is my new favorite author. Modern harlequin authors should learn from Essie Summers on how to write a book without relying on trivial misunderstandings which could have been resolved if the MCs would just talk to each other. Unfortunately this book was not as good as her other books I've read. The drama near the end felt too contrived, what with landslide and miraculous survival.
