To the Minute; Two Tales of Life's Perplexities

Two enjoyable mysteries with gentlemen narrators who must help solve a conundrum in their lives. In the first, Albert must discover why his cousin's neighbor wishes to buy his grandfather's old home for far more than its value. In the second, Dr. Throckmorton must discover why a beautiful foreigner intrudes on his property to gamble while he was supposed to be out of town. Both kept me guessing and had satisfying conclusions.
