Obviously a kids book with a few adult references thrown in. Cute.

I hate dialect writing. It didn't work this time either. The “scuse my language” felt forced and off. I read it to the end because it was easy but it was like eating stale chips, they're not good but your too lazy to get up and get some good ones.

The covers cool.

The rest of the book is really, truly awful and I won't waste my time telling you more.

Intuition by any other name with some genetics thrown in.

The story was just OK. But I don't know why the author or the editor would ever let her try to deep Cajun dialog. Heavy handed and annoying...was really looking forward to this series...but not now.

This book lacked just a little in being a four star book. Sometimes the telling got in the way of the story but overall a really good book.

Rollins is a fine story teller but this is a confused pastiche of Mormonism, early American history, Native American heritage, nutrino theory, and espionage which finally fell apart completely in the end. I almost gave this a two but again Rollins knows how to tell a story.

After all these years I finally read it...excellent.

Cohen's a funny guy, and writes well, but this book is showing it's age.

Excellently researched reference book with cocktail recipes thrown in. The Mamani Gin & Tonic on pg. 238, a blend of gin, cucumber, cilantro, with a skewer of cherry tomatoes, sounds intriguing.

So it's a children's book and I'm not a “children's”. Maybe that's the problem. The book was fairly well written but the included poems - did.not.work. Your younger child will probably enjoy this because of the words butt and rump. Again, not horrible, just not quite for me.

just didn't cut it for me

Fun book with a message. The “commercial breaks” were incredibly annoying for me however.

I didn't care for “Sh*t My Dad Says”. I didn't think it was funny. I didn't think it was well written. This one however is great. Great writing. Good jokes. Lot's of fun. Enjoy

Good book. Not as compelling as if he had taken the business from scratch rather than starting with his father's business which was already pulling down $4 million. But still some good stuff to glean
