A brilliantly whacky read.

Such an intriguing novel. Can't wait to start book 3. Reading about lives of all the civilizations inhabitants is so captivating. The Others are terrifying. I just want to read more!

A really fun and entertaining book. A breeze to read through. Very funny, had me laughing out loud numerous times. "I lift things" was funnier than it had any right to be. I'll definitely be reading more from this author. Now I need to go watch Godzilla.

I have a rule, if I'm not interested within the first 100 pages I will stop reading. Unfortunately this was one of the very few novels I gave up on. Not sure if it gets better but it was too all over the place for me. Deals with the devil, aliens in a donut shop, I just found myself not caring about any of it.

Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Jazz was a really intriguing character. The sabotage, the twists, the murders, and more sabotage. Thrilling is an understatement. I'm not sure why it didn't resonate with other people as much. But I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

We Are Legion

I really enjoyed quite a bit of this book. It got dragged down when it got back to Earth and the mission to leave. I wish the book stuck with the Deltans more. The ending didn't really feel like an ending. Makes me want to read the next book though.

The Long Earth

The literary equivalent of edging. Interesting things almost happen and then are quickly forgotten about. If you'd enjoy nearly 200 pages of people going to other earth's and saying, those horses look similar to the ones on our earth, then by golly do I have a book for you! Loved the random sequel bait near the end. Good stuff. Rather disappointing as im quite a fan of both authors.

Exciting at times but also gets weighed down with too much technical jargon. There were entire paragraphs of the author listing things. This happened more times than it needed too. It was a great read but probably something I wouldn't go back to again. I enjoyed Recursion a lot more.

Wild Love

This was my first experience with smut novels. My girlfriend suggested this because I was curious. The smut was pretty tame and seemed a bit forced at times. The best part of the book was the relationship between Ford and his daughter. Give me a whole book of that please. I found it rather jarring how it would go from absolutely heartwarming moments between them, to extreme horniness a sentence later. It was a bit strange. Overall not a bad book, I'd definitely give more smut a chance.

This book will have you reflecting on life and wondering how time really works. Started off a bit slow and ended a bit odd but I really enjoyed reading it. I was hooked trying to figure out how they would save the timeline.

Very fascinating story, I really enjoyed the humour, tone and potato farming. Incredibly technical and in depth, made it a bit hard to grasp certain aspects. I had a great time reading it though. I'm glad I didn't let my bad experience with the movie stop me from reading the novel.

Brilliant from start to finish. It's so refreshing to have a story in space that isn't disaster after disaster with constant deaths. This was light hearted, funny and overwhelmingly positive. I loved it. Thumbs up👎

They Shoot Horses, Don't They?

I really didn't like this one. It was recommended after reading the Long Walk and by the end I was honestly mad I read it. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen, but it never did. I found it funny that there's not actually a lot of dancing for book about a dance competition.

I absolutely loved this book. Saw the movie, immediately grabbed the novel and read it in 2 days. Then went to see the movie 2 more times and read the book again. Something about it really resonated with me. My only issue is the way the author describes young women. It's offputting.
