Alright!

This was a pretty quick and easy read. Very sweet and a bit spicy, could been spicier. The couple that slays together stay together

This is quite the thrilling mystery and even as the stones turn over the mystery only gets deeper. Why was Avery chosen? What did her mother mean she has a secret about her birth? So many questions so little answers. The clues all seem simple until you have to dig for the next one. The boys personalities are pretty distinct. Nash the older brother who helps lost soles. Xander the tech genius. Gray the cold protector and Jameson the one after a trill. I honestly can't wait to read more. Also that ending omg!

Eh

Frankly this is too short and too quick. There simply isn't enough here. Its just jumps to the next scene. No in between bits and its already a story that's being broken up into other parts. Not really much to say about this.

Creme de la Creme !

This was so good. Great end to this masked men series and I can't wait to continue into her next masked men series. Very light on the hockey which is a bonus for me because sports make my eyes glaze over. I think that this could have been a little kinker as They kinda mention and joke about some kinks. The texting is a little confusing but luckily the bubbles are labled. Overall I have really enjoyed this series. The books were easy to fly through and quite enjoyable.

So this will be spoiler heavy fair warning. I think this book is pretty average for me. Its very heavy on a military aspect for me and the romance didn't really do anything for me. However I am a little peeved that we didn't follow Jude from the beginning given the ending reveals that he's the defendant of the sun goddess. His and Kiara's voice do tend to blurr for me as well. I caught myself several times lossing who's pov I was. Maybe its because she one third of a key to getting the sun back I can't be sure. I also think Patrick's reveal/betrayal could have been hinted at earlier. Also the bad guy's (one of them) is Patrick? Patrick is not a villain name. I kinda figured the sun key/goddess thing was revealed in the grandma dream like it seemed obvious at that point cause it was basically like finish the book(the one Jude gave her) and don don don your either the goddess or a key. Also this book could easily slip out of YA and more towards adult/new adult. The characters for the most part are 18 plus so it feels a little silly that its in the YA category.

Ahhhh!

What a cliff hanger! I got to the 300 page mark and was like where is the big drama. Then boom. How can you leave me like that ? I am working on the Rinaverse backlog and holy hell I was not expecting this. I am used to switching pov's in her work and was pleasantly surprised not to have that this time around. Lots of inter personnel drama between characters and tons of set ups for other romances. Also how is Remington's dad worse than him. Overall I can't wait to continue down the rabbit hole.

Good!

A cop x mafia man. So wrong but oh so right. Although Tex was kinda self forced into the role as a cop to please his father who was never going to accept anything he did. Now Enzo to me he read a bit OCD rather than autistic, unless his special interest is torturing people then I can kinda see it. Its sweet to see how the Vitale brothers care for each other even if it includes swearing and hitting. Tex and Enzo compliment each other well. Enzo needed something that was just his. Tex needed someone who was like a drug to him and who he could never disappoint. Honestly so good. Can't wait to continue the series.

This was awesome. Once I actually got into the book I flew through it. Beverly seeing monsters around every corner is so relatable. These women are very tough and very brave. Sometimes the monster is closer than expected. I loved this book. Its set in a time where serial killer's were popping up like crazy, an era of fear for women. Their experiences gave them insight no one else had and I think they fact they were willing to try and solve the murders they saw popping up around them. Even though this is a fictional book it does references real serial killer's which really added to the story. I will say I did read Margot's name as maggot way to often and Broderick I read as Border ick

Great!

Can I be Blanch when I am older? I love some gossipy old ladies. This was such a cute romance. I love the boys and their relationship with Nova as well as the bond they have with her daughter Sol. I wish time didn't move as fast as it did in this book but its definitely more realistic as regular people have lives outside of romance. I am glad there wasn't much drama in this book like other romance books, most things we're solved pretty easily through communication. I kinda wish this was like a paranormal/werewolf romance due to the sheer number of times they say being together feels right/leaving feel wrong. That's just my humble opinion.

This was a pretty ok story. The mystery wasn't particularly thrilling and I felt like every other paragraph was about a characters queerness so it was a bit repetitive. You had to sort of fight through it to find the clues to the mystery. Although as soon as poison was mentioned my brain made me dream about this damn book. I was wrong about the type of poison but right it was definitely poison. The conversations around queerness were alright and a bit rough given that this book is set in the 1950's I believe its kinda hard to tell because the references the war but its a bit confusing as to which war they are referring to and I think they references both world wars at one point. Also years like 1919 are just thrown out casually. So safe to say there are trigger warnings for homophobia including use of slurs, the homophobia is both external and internal (self homophobia didn't sound right). This book was pretty easy for me to read but honestly it wasn't anything special and its definitely set up for a series about a Queer Detective.

Good!

Another really good one by Rina Kent. Jeremy is an absolute beast. Cecily is kinda my favorite girl. She unapologeticily a nerd and the group mom despite her own demons. This definitely the book where the characters ‘hate' each other but secretly they've just been lying to themselves. The spice is spicy in this one. I am really loving these book and the Kent-verse (Rina Kent universe) and can't wait to get into the next books.

This is beautiful, captivating, and raw. This book is not for the faint of heart. It's an indepth look at how a woman's choice is either controlled or taken and what happens when she fights back. The opening scene is raw and only gives a hint of the Medusa you will see as we watch her grow and change. Change from girl, to priestess, to ‘monster'. I loved this book and I have always had a soft spot for Medusa. Their is an innocence to Medusa throughout the book that I appreciated but she still grows and her story with Apollonia is just truly beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. I think this is one of my favorite retellings I've read.

This was a hella time. These are some of the goofiest characters I have ever met. Its like seeing your grandparents solve a murder. I will admit I was lost a bit on the actual murders in this book but we got their in the end. I was seriously wondering how many bodies would drop in this book and it was a lot. Several murders and a couple of self unalives. Safe to say older folks holding on to shit is not good. I hope the movie is just as good and goofy as this book. I haven't decided if I'll continue with the series or not but I do know where to find a cast of characters that are just down right fun.

Good!

I absolutely flew through this book. I love these two they are so cute and there was no drama really. This book was so cozy. I could have done without the w*tersporfs as its not my favourite thing to read but it didn't take away from the story. Also I love anyone who loves purple. Perfect for Christmas time.

Hot!

Arie and Riccardo are hot. Arie is totally obsessed. They are both killers in their own right. Seeing Riccardo's walls coming crumbling down slowly for Arie is kinda sweet. Arie being a s*x worker is interesting. I think its nice to see pieces of other technically criminal enterprises other than just saying hey we're the mafia. I am enjoying this continuous story of the Russians bugging our main family here, The Bianchi's. I just eat up these stories and want to just keep reading these stories. I think I need more Mafia MM books.

Why was this the cutest romance ever? Like yeah miscommunication is a big trope in this one but honestly it was pretty easily slowed. I think I fell even more in love with the wacky towns people. Book club had me rolling and everyone being like we already know when Logan announces he loves Jeanie was gold. I feel like the spice was light mainly due to the cozy vibes. If you just want a cozy book with romance this is the book, despite the basic white girl title (according to my roommate). The only thing that bugs me is the single quotation instead of the double around speech/talking. It's a personal long standing pet peeve. However I was able to over look it due to how much this book made me laugh.

I think this by far is one of the easiest Agatha Christie's to read. I did watch the movie prior to getting this book and I would say the movie isn't far off from the book. This book focuses in on a family and the murder of the head of that family. Charles who is practically an outsider wanting to marry into the family is used by his father to get a more depth insight to the dynamics of the family. Between the movie and the book the characters personalities stay the same. Magda especially with her dramatics and Brenda is very similar too. The book ends the same with Edith and Josephine in the car in the Quarry very much less dramatic than the movie but movies do need the suspense. This book is quiet the good read and I honestly would suggest it to be anyone's first Agatha Christie.

Holy Cow!

This Review will most definitely contain spoilers. This is how you end a series. Everything we've learned comes together in a beautiful symphony. We get answers about the cult that the team has been tracking. We get more info on Lia's past while she still remains a mystery at the same time. The director being a bad guy and his daughter kills him crazy. Lorelei having a second personality was a wtf moment for sure. This needs to be a tv show. Also an open ended of their are more naturals out there like yes please the naturals next gen give it to me. I love that Sloane gets a love interest although I don't think she realized it. Michael's sister clicking with the team and give them another tool in their belt is awesome. The fact she was basically like bodies yes and murder ew was gold. Briggs becoming director and patching things up with Agent Sterling was a nice add on honestly. I still have the The gripe of wishing their were other povs but with an ending like this I can forgive it.

This was basically Hercule Poirot wanders around and interviews people. I think I prefer the movie. This was simply not interesting to me. I believe this is my third Hercule Poirot and Third Agatha Christie in general so I am slowly getting used to her narrative style. Also is Mrs. Oliver just a stand in for Christie herself. I am unsure if I've met this particular friend of Poirot before but a mystery novelist who may or may not be writing about Poirot seem like a dead giveaway to who the character is. I do believe that maybe this book could have been shocking when it came out as it features not only one but two child murders, as well as two other murders. Although I think the word child is used loosely as its quiet clear anyone from age 1 to age 18 is considered a child. It was fun seeing what all the interviews/information came together to be in the end. Now I think the comparisons at the end are interesting, I don't much about Lady Macbeth (my own fault really) but the comparison to narcissus I don't really see. It could be that Micheal was doing things for his own self interest but I guess I didn't see the self obsessing aspects that I am more knowledgeable with when it comes to Narcissus. Overall I think this was just okay.

This is a thrilling book! Bel is probably my favorite character, she gets angry and petty is a bit of a thief and liar but damn do I eat it up. When Rachel came back I was like okay getting the title of the book and Bel had something about something similar right before hand so it was gonna happen no matter what. Charlie going missing put me in a tail spin on top of Bel not trusting Rachel was making me question everything. Bel picking apart Rachel's lies was amazing especially with Ash at her side. When we finally learn the truth, the full truth it was like fireworks going off. I think the best part of the book is it was telling us how it'd end just very subtlely...Family First from beginning to end. Honestly could see a movie of this it was that good.

Ate this up!

I felt like I absolutely tore through this book. Rina Saint is a master at writing emotional broken people who come together so well. Andre and Elias are the perfect kind of f'ed up for eachother. At this point in these books The Island where a lot of the trauma our leading men have feels like a whole dang character itself. A seriously messed up character but character nonetheless. Each layer we peel back feel like only a tiny glimpse of the horrors that took place their. I quite literally had to stop myself from reading several times because otherwise I would probably have read this in one sitting. Give me more from this series, please and thank you.

Amazing!

Once again Jaye Pratt absolutely nails it with these quick snappy masked men novellas. Seriously each installment makes me eager for more. Glad to see Wild Steps is still causing chaos but bringing couples together. Vander being the silent strong guy was doing it for me. Ace and Rhoades dynamic was good too. Honestly I am going to be very impatiently waiting for the next one.... I seriously need to get physical copies of these books.

The Will and Nico adventures are some of the most emotional profound works. Rick and Mark are masters at emotional development. Nico feels so different than the last book. He's a growing human being who is learning to accept his emotions via his little coco puffs. The coco puffs I picture as those little dust balls things from a Ghibli movie but like cat sized. The mythics are some of my favorite characters in this one. The Minotaur. knitting stuff is hilarious. I seriously love learning about different gods and creatures that I haven't read about before, although they are the Riordan version. I seriously love how the actions of the last book are why this current book is happening really brings the world together along with other things we read about in this story. All in all an amazing book.

This book was pretty good. The football talk was a lot for me as I don't really know anything about sports. For a while their I was like if I keep reading football and them fighting I am gonna give this a three star. However then the flip switched and Ky let himself finally start to come to terms with things. The bliss of Christmas was so cute. Then things got crazy and then calmed down just to get wild again. I think Ky might be the best character of the book. The growth he goes through from start to finish is gold star worthy. I love Avi too. The spice was on point and very consistent through out the book. I just wish I read this way sooner!

I am going to be honest and say this one doesn't hit as hard as the first one. It's a good book don't get me wrong but I think maybe Lachlan is just too sweet for an essentially contract killer. Like be a little meaner. However Brynne Weaver knows how to drag out the tension between characters. I didn't really see the point of The Phantom/Abe because I immediately realized after the second point of view (when he attacks Ethel) from him that it him and Lachlan's reaction to him. I will continue the series mainly because I am really wanting to see Fionn's love story. The spice was okay, honestly could have had more.
