I received this e-arc from Netgalley in return for my honest opinion.
I did not love this book as much as I thought I would. I loved the first book, but this book feels like a romanced version of Stockholm Syndrome.
I did really enjoy Nessa as a character, I liked to see how, despite everything, she continued to grow and be a better person. Her learning Polish to just F*ck with Miko was fun to see.
This truly was a beauty and the beast retelling, which I liked.
Will continue with the series, just because I like Sophies writing and im curious to see what she does with the other books.

I didn't expect to love this book as much as I did. It did lack some dialogue on how they fell in love. It was pretty much getting married and doing some stuff together and oh we are in love.
But, I did really like it. Both Aida and Callum where fun characters and I liked all the side characters too.
Caught myself while reading at work more then once!

I adored this book. The writing style was easy and quick but not in a bad way
Need to admit that the romance wasn't really there until it happened. Not really a slow burn that is really present in the book, but very cute any way
I liked cat, she really shows what it is like to be a influencer and addicted to your phone all the time. It did make me realize some things. So this book also has a important message and I think it was necessary.

I really really really liked this book. The enemies to loved is so nice, both characters are enjoyable. I love how Ryan is a soft and a bit insecure. This shows other men - who generally are the tough ones - that it is okay to be sensitive and have feelings. I really enjoyed that part of the book. Harper was great, I could not with her being that chaotic, but it gave her some character.
Really enjoyed the writing style. I even found myself reading during work hours a few times. Writing is quick and I flew trough the book.

It took me a long time to finish this book. I was totally in love with the bargainer series by Laura, but this book lacks that extra spark that I loved in her other books.
Honestly, it was very predictable. It was pretty obvious what the ending was going to be like since it was all they spoke about.
I put the book down for a good amount of days before I kinda had to force myself to get trough it.
Honestly, I did like it. There where some parts that really made the book better, but it also felt like there was too much information we didn't need.
Not much happened the entire book, there was a mayor plot twist at the end that I kinda saw coming. Despite that, I enjoyed the book a lot. This book made 400 pages of traveling fun and I did not hate it for a second.
Also, these side characters are great. Also, the saddles can rot in hell tbh. Rissa is the only one I can handle
I've been putting off reading this book. Don't know why, I really enjoyed it.
The first chapter starts with a literal orgy, so if you don't want to read something like that, skip this book.
I don't know why, but I feel like Rissa is up to more. She isn't as innocent as she appears. Also, my guess right now is that Midas is working with that fae dude to get Auren back. Or she is going to bang the hell out of fae dude. No idea yet.
Honestly, looking back on the other two books. This one is the only one that deserves the 5 stars that I gave. Even though I really enjoyed both books. Zahra was too immature for my liking and I loved the second book, but this one just has more plot and a better story line.
Watching cal struggle with his addiction was a roller coaster but it made the book a lot better.
I never expected to like this book as much. I did not get trough Throttled because I just couldn't with the way the story was written. But this book, oh my.
I literally laughed out loud a few times because Zahra just had the best comebacks. I absolutely adored the Dreamland aspect of the book. The character where absolutely great and I can't wait to read about the other brothers in this series.

I enjoyed this book a lot. It is really short, and I have to admit that I found the story to be told too fast. I felt like I was missing whole parts of the plot that should have been there. The book takes place over the span of 7 days, but it felt more like two or three days. There is minimal world building, but I enjoyed the characters and the mystery behind Casamir's name.
The story also had a lot of references from Beauty and the Beats. But this was basically B&tB but with spice.
Despite what I said above, I enjoyed it and I finished the book within two days.

I really wanted to love this book. It sounded like something I would enjoy very much.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the characters and the familiars where really enjoyable. It was just that this book is written over the span of two days. We have the before, about how savvy and griffin met. I really liked those stories. Then there is now. They fight a whole bunch of people and they end two organizations in two days. It just didn't feel believable. The romance was also really weird in the now parts. I really expected it to be like mr and mrs smith but I did not get those vibes.
Also, having sex in a car after (kinda during) a fight and you are still in your wedding dress even though you have been home? Yeah, no. Not really believable.
I really liked this book. Literally finished in a day.
I did miss some things in this book, like some extra characters. I know Des his life is pretty private, but I would have loved to see some side characters from his side. From Callie we've got temper and Eli, but it was basically just Des and Callie.
The book also really reminds me of ACOTAR. I love ACOTAR. excited to see where the other books go.
