This was like reading a retelling of Ouran Highschool Host Club in the best possible way.

Points for keeping me watching, horrified, until the end. Not something I enjoyed.

I rather liked listening to this one, minus some of the voices of the female characters. Alma souned a little bit like the voice that a certain tiktok dude that dresses up his dog as a real estate agent? Anyhow, I love how the characters are portrayed, and how genuinely trapped Charlie feels in his situation.

This is very strange so far, and has some problematic themes, but I am incredibly interested as to where exactly the narrative is going with this. The art is very good, I love the expressions.

Made me cry some. A good read, though not an easy or light one.

A little slow in spots, but a good throughline and goood characters!

I really enjoyed this one! It's a bit heavy handed on the therapy, but I don't think in a bad way. It puts a huge emphasis on how caregivers are often the ones at highest risk of both compassion fatigue and of throwing their own wants and needs aside.

Does what it says it will

More wholesome than expected!

Hmm, problematic in some spots, good rep of bdsm tropes in others?

Strangely, it's the pacing I found weird in this one.

This was a super interesting and impactful graphic novel, with wonderful illustrations and fun explanations of Buddhism

Well that was devastating! Thanks!

The only issue i have is that Roos and Ruth sound incredibly similar over audiobook!

A strange read. I like that the main character isn't too dumb to figure out what's happening, but I feel like as soon as she understood, things stopped progressing on camera? The last chapter sort of felt like “here's the rest of the book, it happened while you weren't watching!” I think this would have struck me better if it was longer?

I enjoyed this book immensely! There were times when I could tell what was about to happen long before the characters figured it out, but the author threw in enough good twists that I never felt bored! I loved the magic system, though I wish we could have spent more time with it! I'm a sucker for a good romance, but I think I'd have preferred 30% romance, 70% magic systems? I may just be picky! Either way, I really enjoyed listening to this book, and the narrator did a spot on job!

I enjoyed this story, and ultimately I loved the ending, but damn if it's not painful to watch the MC throw every opportunity not to be a jerk out the window. There's a lot of interesting character development though, and I appreciate that he doesn't just magically change.

I loved it, but the pacing was a bit hard at times!

I absolutely adored this one. It is raw, brutal, and an unstoppable force. I can still taste the rusty metal.

Alright, I've been caught. Ensnared even. Already on the waiting list for the next one. It was a bit of a slow start, but once I started to understand the characters and the world being built, I fell headfirst into the story and couldn't stop! The audiobook is great, though the two narrators pronounced Sadeus's name differently. Otherwise? Absolutely brilliant! I look forward to the next one.

A little confusing, but I enjoyed the artwork!

I absolutely loved this retelling of Eros and Psyche! It's definitely up there with my favorite retellings of all time. I adore the emphasis on understanding each other, on secrets and cages. A new favorite.
