I would have loved this as a teenager, but as an adult I fought the urge to roll my eyes a lot. Even so, despite that, the writing was good and I did enjoy Blackwood and Virtue's company for a while. Slightly predictable for those familiar with the genre, but all in all, fun and enjoyable. 3 ⭐

I tried really hard, but this just wasn't working for me. I don't think I'm the target audience and that's fine. Dnf at 150 pages.

This book was good. It was excellent writing, easy to read, good realistic characters.

Actual rating 3.5 ⭐. I enjoyed it, but dnf'ing about halfway through. I'm liking it, I'm just kinda not enthused and bored by it. May pick it up again later.

Okay, normally I'm KNOT one for shifter romances...get it? Also I'm iffy on surprise pregnancy tropes, but this was just a fun time and I read it in two sittings. I adored every bit of this, and the world building was believable and interesting. Alphas going extinct, mated pair, fated mates, surprise pregnancy, surprise male alpha, action adventure, this has it all! Ollie and Beck were an adorable couple and the happy ending was everything. My one issue is that I'd like a scene where they'd confront Ollie's pack at the end, but otherwise this was a blast to read. 4.5 ⭐ rounded up!

Had potential but fizzled out. The writing was good but there wasn't really a lot of plus size rep like it suggests from the cover. I liked it, and will definitely read more of this author. 3.5 ⭐

Fun and enjoyable, I really liked this monster romance though Rin doesn't seem like the demon he is. 4.5 ⭐.

Compared to Lolita this was a definite NO for me. The way the guy writes about his daughter's bossum and how he describes her sometimes is real red flag vibes. Though the writing was good this was rather disturbing at times to read. Gidget herself was a fascinating person, however and that's why I'm giving this three stars. I'm not a big surfer person either but this story was interesting and well written enough for me to finish reading. 2.5 ⭐ rounded up.

Beautiful writing, however the fact that it's a boy doing all this. Why not a girl? I rarely almost never see girls in stories like this. Even so. This was beautiful. 5 ⭐.

Like the romance within this book, I lingered in finishing this masterpiece for as long as I could before finally giving in to temptation.

A much younger me would have given this five stars, but there were just a few things here and there that I just didn't enjoy. This is my own preference, however and while the romances were good, it just wasn't quite for me. 4 ⭐
