Ce tome est assez différent des autres et nous emmène sur un tout nouveau monde. On retrouve quelques références à cette "mini-histoire" qu'était la première moitié du tome précédent.
John évolue grandement dans ce livre, que ce soit en terme de pouvoir ou d'acceptation de soit et on se retrouve à lire le livre sans se rendre compte que l'on a été si rapide.

This volume is quite different from the others and takes us to a completely new world. There are a few references to the "mini-story" that comprised the first half of the previous volume.
John undergoes significant development in this book, both in terms of his power and his self-acceptance, and you find yourself reading it without realizing how quickly you've passed.

J'aurai bien mis 3,5. Je trouve ce tome un peu en dessous. Ou plutôt, ces tomes tellement on a l'impression qu'il y a deux histoires distinctes se partageant chacun une moité du livre.
On pourrait s'attendre à ce que la première partie serve par la suite mais les informations qu'elle apporte ne sont pas utilisées quand elle pourrait servir.
A part ça, on reste dans la continuité et j'attends la suite.

I would have rated 3.5 if I couldI find this volume a bit weaker. Or rather, these volumes, as it feels like there are two separate stories, each occupying half the book.
One might expect the first part to be relevant later on, but the information it provides isn't used when it could be.
Aside from that, the story remains consistent, and I'm looking forward to the next installment.

Encore un très bon tome. John arrive à gagner en puissance et à se défaire de certains de ses plus puissants ennemis tout en continuant d'en apprendre plus sur la magie.
La fin était plutôt inattendue et laisse présager une suite vraiment intense.
