Despite being firmly aimed at a younger audience I quite enjoyed some of the stories particularly the modern doctors ones.  The links to episodes was clever and tied in nicely.

I quiet enjoyed this, a very interesting idea for the plot with a bit of a wonky side plot which felt contrived at times, but it was good to see Uhura get a bigger role, even if I did feel she didn't get her just deserves in the end.

For me this was more a 3.5 book, interesting idea but I felt the end was a bit rushed and the way one of the characters changed dramatically could have done with more than oh well, I was wrong carry on...

Not as good as the first in the series, it seemed a huge waste of resources all the antics the Breen got up to for the proposed end result, whilst making out the baddies to be just that all bad, no grey areas.

I really enjoyed this book, even when it followed Noonien for about half the book andeft the Star Trek characters behind.  interesting story too.

Interesting story, but too much reverse the polarity type solutions.

I didn't enjoy this one as much as the others, it felt a bit like we were romping all over the place at times and not spending enough time in each place.

But it was a wonderful series and I so hope there's another book that gives us more insight I to the Cataclysm and the current world. at times in sounfs medieval and at others it's quite modern. I'm enjoying this but would love the world to have more explanation of how it all works and what it's like.

An excellent adventure for the heroes and their backstory got nicely filled in too.

I wasn't sure I'd enjoy this book as much as the others in the series due to the change in the location and time, but it was probably the best one so far. Bartimaeus is a great character and his interactions with humans are always fun. Hopefuly there will be many more installments in his story.

Another cracking installment with a great story and characters.

I really loved this book and the great story. Bartimaeus is a great fun character in a world where the magicians care nothing about the commoners, perhaps a comment on today's societies billionaires....

Very enjoyable, really like Bartimaeus, but I felt the ending was somehow flat.

An interesting storyline, some neat twists but it didn't really grip me for some reason.

I really enjoyed these books, great characters and plot with some wonderful minor characters who really deserve their own series.

Really enjoyed this story. Great characters and plot, but I still don't get the long section explaining language at the front then it's almost all written like a normal book.  I'd like more Scottish in it!

Enjoyable YA fiction set in Roman London.

I enjoyed the series but found it all a bit long and the end a bit of a let down.

I have found these books fascinating,.long and at times hard to follow, probably a comment on me the last bit!  I've enjoyed them for the most part and found. them a drag at others, but I will read the last one.

It took me a while to get into this and I did find it a bit hard going at times, but enjoyed the long story and the character development.

A very interesting idea but I just couldn't really get into it properly. I don't know whether it was intentionally placing a parody of Trump as Thompson but that seemed to be just how you would imagine him to be.

A fun read and Seven is very well written, interesting plot with timely whimey time travel to mess with your head at the end.

Very enjoyable book and a great read but felt as though it wasn't quite a 5 star one for me.

A fascinating history of the SAS during WW2. I enjoyed reading it but wasn't keen on the style of writing at times.

This begins brightly but then settles down into rather drab and slow anecdotes of Harold's life as he slowly, very slowly, make his way to the books climax, which you are well aware of a long time previously. Neither of the main characters are likeable and you don't end up caring what happens to anyone

Really enjoyed this book, great idea, well written and not full of silly dramatic mishaps that are telegraphed then heroically overcome.
