A great end to the series.

One of my favourite series

Such a good series

An excellent series with great characters

Not as good as book one, but still gripping and enjoyable. I'm already on book three and I hope the eventual resolution of the main story arc doesn't take forever to reach, but perhaps after book 3 I'll wish there were many more steps along the way to the end! Who knows. Well worth reading though.

Wow, what an excellent book! The first 3/4 of this was some of the most gripping fiction I've read this year. The last 1/4 wasn't quite as brilliant but it was still excellent. Poor Kellen, you do feel for the guy!

Perhaps this style of book isn't my cup of tea but I only found this book to be a good read rather than excellent. 3* may be harsh 4* too generous. It's not bad, but for me, somehow didn't grip me properly.

A very interesting story set in a post apocalyptic Britain. At times it dragged out a bit with too much description for me but was still an excellent read and hopefully we will get more featuring the characters.

Wow! This is a brilliant read. Fun, wonderful characters with great lines and a fast fun plot. Needs 6 *

Mr Rankin has a distinct style of writing that won't be for many. But if you want a fun fast plot filled with stupidity and laughs then Retormancer hits the spot. The running gags and jokes are all very Carry On but I loved it all.

This book grew on me. I didn't like it to start with but by the end quite enjoyed it. I'm not sure why we had to have the language explanation at the front about how the book was using Scottish then use Elevator instead of lift etc Bit weird that, but still worth reading and I will get book 2.

What a lovely book! Loved the characters, fun plot and thoroughly enjoyable.

I'm not normally a fan of detective fiction but fancied a change from my usual haunts of scifi and fantasy and I'm glad I did. This was a great read with believable characters and a good plot too. I'll definitely get the others in the series.

Not my favourite in the series and I really don't know why. I felt some of the dialog was a bit forced and the ending a bit anti climatic for such a good series. It's not a bad book at all and I enjoyed it, but felt it could have been slightly better.

A more unusual story with a few twists and turns that I didn't see coming. Great humour as usual and fast flowing.

Probably my favourite of the Time Police series so far. Excellent plot, loads of twists, fabulous banter between characters. Roll on TP4

Excellent. Some of the dialog is just outstandingly timed to perfection. I loved it.

Short, sweet, Christmassynand fun.

Another short, fun story from an unexpected point of view.

I didn't enjoy this as much as the others and I'm not sure why! It felt an odd conclusion too, but it was nice for it all to wrap up.

Well written, though for me a it hard to keep up with all the people featured in it. Fascinating accounts of Dday and its aftermath and the sheer horror of war. Perhaps there could have been more accounts for those experiencing it and less explanations of the events leading to those comments but well worth reading nonetheless.

A routine job for Lockwood & Co, we don't learn anything new about them team or the problem either. A bit pointless really.

I really like the characters in these adventures but still feel the plot is at times too easily predictable and contrived. But, enjoyable nonetheless.

Enjoyable adventure for Lockwood and Co, but the receals seem far too obvious to me and the characters miss and take ages to notice them. Doesn't spoil it, but does take the edge off rhe book a bit.

My favourite so far and looking forward to thr next installment. For me, the previous books had been OK but it felt like they had something missing, or were not complex enough stories. This installment is full of different storylines and keeps you on your toes. Very enjoyable.
