I'm sorry, I couldn't take it anymore. This book feels so unedited. The snark is so cringy and the plot feels like a copy and paste of all the popular tropes, but worse... I can't believe this is traditionally published. I dont know how it got past editing but it is not good.

I just could not keep reading the inner dialog of the character. It just felt like I was wasting my time reading the book hoping it would get better but got to a point where I just could not keep going.

DNF'd it at about 50%. Don't get me wrong, I love a good large blue alien romance as much as the next person but this one did not hit the spot for me. Did not feel any connection between the two main characters that made me want to stick around for the whole book.

What a beautiful but gut-wrenching book. This author is go amazing at world building and character depth. Its poetic and whimsical but deals with some heavy topics. It took a while to get into for me but it was definitely worth the effort!

This autobiography was really hard to read but so good! My heart hurt for the girl who Tara was and the woman she became through the years of conditioning and brainwashing she endured growing up in a cult like family.

I love the unique and fresh world building in this book, and that the author was not afraid of writing a character who is selfish and morally grey, but felt like this was a weaker book than the first one. It was still a fun read but did not suck me in like the first book did.

Strong-ish finish to the Skyward series. I wasn't a huge fan the direction a lot of this book went with the resolution of everything and it felt more boring than the other books I read in this series, but still overall enjoyed.

Cute, hallmark type, small-town story about a woman who's lost, taking over her aunt's cafe, getting involved with the nosy but caring townspeople, and falling for the hunky farmer. Great cozy read when you need a pallet cleanser but not a lot of substance if thats something you're looking for.

I wanted so much to love this book. But honestly, it put me in a reading slump from how much I dreaded picking it up each day. I didn't hate it. It was still an ok read, but pretty boring for the most part. That being said, I'm curious how it continues and will probably pick up the next book.

A YA fantasy about a girl with a secret ability to change a person's appearance by painting them, get's strong-armed into trying to paint someone back from the dead and discovering the sinister circumstances that caused his death.

Dark, atmospheric and an overall great story. Very creative world building and unique setting. I loved every minute of the journey and the satisfying ending.

I think Ali Hazelwood books are only tolerable to me in short spurts so I appreciated the novellas for that. However, her female and male main characters are always a copy and paste from every other book she's ever written and I'm kinda bored of the predictability .
