Lizbeth has to go and rescue Eli from being falsely imprisoned. Really fast paced, interesting story. Lizbeth comes in guns blazing into every situation, shooting first and asking questions later and I think that was hilarious.

Great book! SJM knows how to write a good story. The POVs were all super interesting and I love the cast of characters and all of the things they go through. My heart hurts for all of them, especially Dorian. Excited to see how Manon's story develops.

I really liked the second book. The setting of the story was super interesting. Loved the reunion between Eli and Lizbeth and that she is so blind to him having an interest in her. Solid storyline and great execution.

I had high hopes for this book when I started it, but was less than impressed by the time I finished it. Isolde was pretty frustrating as a character and the story was just not there. So many plot holes that were unexplained and ignored to make room for their relationship issues.

This is a fantasy romance with a cat and mouse chase and a reluctant romance between the main characters. My least favorite of the trilogy. It felt like an easier read than the 1st and 2nd book but something about it didn't hit as well as the other two.

This is a cute YA Aladdin retelling where the genie is a girl. This book has a forbidden romance element and lots of misconceptions that the two need to clear up. Very immersive and well written.

I thought this book was very sweet. Malachus is a dragon shifter stuck in his human body and hates humanity because he has seen them at their worst. Halani on the other hand is a healer that shows him that humans can be kind and selfless. That dynamic was so well done.

Perfect second book! I loved the direction of the plot, the character development of the core group of characters, and the big reveals. Can wait to see the progression in the next book!

Overall loved this series but this book was definitely the weakest one. The plot was really solid but the romance was not as great as the other books.

Cute but basic contemporary romance between a publishing assistant and a famous rich boy author. It was a fairly entertaining read but felt like it lacked that oomph you want in a great story.

I was scared to read this book thinking I wouldn't like it because of all the mixed reviews I kept seeing about just needing to just get through the first book to enjoy the series. However, I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it! Cant wait to pick up the next book!

This book was very mid-tier. Enjoyable for the most part but felt very bland. The romance was not very believable and the characters read as if this was a YA book with YA levels of maturity. The premise sounded very interesting but it missed the mark.

This book took me forever to finish. I really loved this series overall but man did this book drag on and on. My heart is still hurting for these characters so well done on the emotional damage Carissa.

Enemies to lovers fantasy romance between a half orc and an elf. Perfect pallet cleanser read. It was sweet, spicy and low stakes. Not really big on things literally steaming every time they touch so it got kind of annoying reading that over and over again. Other than that a pretty good story!

Wow what a great book! So cozy and whimsical. I loved the dialog, the narration style, the world building. Tress was such an amazing character! One of my top books this year!

I really loved The Storied Life of AJ Fikry but this book missed the mark for me. I do understand why people like it, but I thought this book was kind of boring and subpar.

Adult little mermaid retelling with Fae a bridal competition. The selkie FMC needs to kill the human MC with a kiss or her life is forfeit. Great twist to the classic fairy tale! This series is very addicting.
