this was so YA but not in a good way and I don't mind that genre when done right. this was just not for me and I didn't really care about the plot bc u know what's going to happen so there was nothing in this book that kept me wanting to continue besides the fact that I paid money for it so I had to finish. also how the fuck is there two more books, this is crazy

i didn't read the synopsis or tags so if I knew beforehand that the sci-fi part IS the plot twist i wouldn't even read it. i love sci-fi and fantasy and other genres but I absolutely HATE it when they become a plot twist in thrillers bc its not a thriller anymore?? i was so invested in the story and had so many theories and the second the reveal came i literally almost dnfed the book bc what's the point in finishing 😭 and I was right bc it dragged so much after the reveal i pushed the audio on 2x speed. i know it's just me and not the book but this will always make me mad, stop tagging stuff like this as thrillers when they are NOT that at all

ate this up in one day, enjoyed it way more than I thought. the mystery is quite basic but the way it was told and all the dynamics between the two families or people around were so good and interesting to listen to

loved the first half of this one and then it got kinda boring :/ love the characters but every book in the series had me reading with a straight face and took me way too long to finish it so it's not anything amazing to me personally

I feel like I've read this book multiple times before, it's nothing new or exciting; it did have a lot of nice sentences and I did relate to some of her struggles. I know she's suppose to be unlikeable but I feel like it doesn't bring anything to the book other than to annoy or “shock” lol

this was definitely better than the 1st book and there was some plot twists that got me. loving the slow burn too

IM SO SAD this was my fav series as a kid but now after rereading i was dissapointed :( took me way too long to finish it even with an audiobook and it felt like a chore to get thru at times

as someone who's niche interest is anti multi-level marketing content, I ate all the stories and insides into being in one UP. this book has its flaws, especially at the end but I also didn't come to this book trying to learn new stuff bc I pretty much know most of it already. yeah the virtue signaling was cringe at times and the last chapter made me eye roll at her, but at the end of the day I just wanted some entertaining recounts of being in an mlm and I got it

this took me 2 weeks to finish. it was solid but it didn't move me like it did most people. the saddest part was definitely chapter 8, hard one to read but besides that idk it was just fine, bit boring at times but I do love the two main characters

peak written by a man book vibe. the only reason I continued was to find out what was the secret AND THEY NEVER REAVEAL IT so now I'm annoyed (idc that that's the point of the book, it wasn't good enough to begin with to justify that lol)
