This was so steamy and fun!
Cami has big trust issues, but local bartender Zach sneaks his way past her 10 foot walls. He is such a sweet guy with dad jokes and just thoughtfulness.
It always stresses me out when there's pictures and videos taken during spicy time (steamy as hell but stressful none the less) thankfully nothing but consent and spicy vibes happened with those.
An age gap forced proximity pining holiday romance.
It was sweet, a TON of pining. I had to remind myself that this was a 29 and 39 year old.... Cause some of the things would have been solved with communication.
I get Gavin's hesitation, but at the end of the day he's basically 40. So having a ten year long crush isn't great lol
THAT BEING SAID. These two felt like twin flames. Opposites but stronger together. He is her lighthouse.
This was amazing. I was giggling and kicking my feet. I absolutely LOVE and live for grumpy MC's who are only sunshine for their girls.
And Elliot was perfect. He is a no nonsense grumpy CEO, and won't have anything less than the perfection he expects from his assistant and everyone else. He needs the control.
Catherine is a pregnant and single mom, and thrives as Elliot's assistant. Checks every box and does the tasks he requires perfectly. Once he realizes she's pregnant, some switch goes off in him and he needs to protect her and the baby.
Seeing Elliot with such kindness and tenderness towards Catherine was so wonderful. He is so sweet to her and takes care of her In ways she didn't realize she needed. He is what she needed and didn't even see until it was already in motion.
Devoured this one.
Can't wait to read about Miles next.
Super short spicy holiday novella.
Alice is a competitor on a holiday baking show, and Michael (who she is obsessed with) is one of the judges.
She gets flustered by his glance, and he is immediately enthralled by her.
It didn't have enough time to really hammer out any details, and the plot was kind of all over the place.
There was a ton of pining and a bit of spicy. A lot of glances from across the room.
I went into this assuming I would be disappointed. I loved Mateo, but I did not love Crimson River or Vera. And knowing it was her story with him I had low expectations.
Maybe that was a good thing because I honestly was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked this book.
Matty is the cutest and sweetest single dad to Allie, and Vera fits right into their little family.
A nice conclusion to the Edens family story.
Really good!!!!
Mac the fire chief single dad (I assumed he was old from the other books) and Georgia the southern belle.
Mac is a single dad to Andy who is the cutest 6 year old ever. Georgia comes to Hunter Valley to help with a town fundraiser. She ends up renting a room above Mac's garage.
They both know she is in town temporarily, and know they can't get attached. Andy can't get attached either. They agree on no strings, but Miss Georgia ends up falling for Mac. Who ends up being king of the dumbasses.
It was steamy, and fun!
I liked that he called her sweet girl.
I very much dislike the “I must mark this virgin trope”
And yes we get it Damian is a big lumber jack. It was very repetitive how they kept saying how big he is.
I also felt the dialogue was repetitive with the banter.
THAT BEING SAID.
It was a cute and steamy ex's dad age gap romance.
I felt for Milly and how she didn't have a good maternal role model. And what is with the Hunter Valley men having crappy dads?
Danial was growly but sweet.
A cute, short and sweet novella about a marriage of convenience with cinnamon roll hockey player and his teammates sister.
Summer was so precious and pined HARD after Britta. Like Insta love two years ago for him and just watched her and quietly protected her at the bar where she works.
He needs a green card to stay in the country so he can hopefully get signed to go pro.
Britta is anti relationship. Her own childhood has darkened her beleifs in love and doesn't want it. Sumner wants her bad, so he is a “take what you can get” when it comes to her.
2.5 rounded to 3
It was fine. Lacked chemistry between the main characters.
The story could have been better as it felt the details were just barely touched on
Overall, fine Mafia romance. Nothing special but good enough to pass the time. Not good enough to continue the series unfortunately. Maybe another time
Marriage of convenience with your enemy that is trying to buy your family's legacy snow lodge to tear it down.
Hello this is my cup of tea
I loved the first half, but after about the 65% mark, it kind of dropped off. I wanted more angst, more grovelling.
Devin is a charming sweet talking guy, and Lexi feels everything with her heart on her sleeve
He comes in trying to buy her family's snow lodge but it has sentimental value so Lexi is dragging her heels to put up a fight. She can inherit the lodge, but only if she's married.
This was really fun and classic MH. Happy to be back in cherry tree harbour !
Tobias was a simp, if not a bit of an asshole. Meyer was... forgettable? She was nothing special.
Bailey Bay is the sweetest.
The drama was wild? Unexpected and huge secrets that didn't really get explained much just kind of this happened and we all just went ok.
That being said - it was really emotional, I felt Tobias had huge character growth that I loved for him. He just needed love and support and found it in the wrong place.
This was amazing!!!! Fun, steamy, witty, and everything.
Nico is such a sweetheart. And such a goner for Lily. Princesa is now a top nickname for me.
Lily is the black cat and Nico is the golden retriever.
They spend a spontaneous summer travelling, banging, and falling for each other.
Nico's letters and notes to her were swoon worthy.

Addicting age gap mafia romance! A solid 4.5 star.
Charlie is a nurse who will do anything to protect her sister. Unfortunately that means having the marry the local mafia boss...
Renato finds Charlie addicting, a breath of colour in his bland life. He is fascinated by her, so he decides to keep her to repay charlotte's sisters wrong doing.
Charlotte is reluctant to fall for her “jailer” but it was so intriguing to see.
Breeding kink, dark, mafia, age gap
It's giving “You” vibes, but way more fast paced.
I really enjoyed reading this, but I felt there could have been more build up. Like I always wondered how we got to certain events.
The illustrations included were amazing! And the dual POV for the same event was great.
I love SL, her writing has such good flow.
