Eventually he tells her that he loves her and it makes me swoon. He's a softie romantic who loves his three legged dog I and an adopted duck.
The families are rivals but he finds a way to bridge the gap to call a mild truce for the sake of them and the baby. The pranks don't stop but they stay harmless without malice.
I wish we had more of their early budding relationship. And I wish we knew more about his cowboy era???

She is clear she doesn't want to cross the professional line, but he's so kind and charming he becomes irresistible. He wants her all the same and regrets not knowing her all those years ago.
Maddie definitely wore her insecurities on her sleeve, but Mauro never really gave up on showing her he loved her no matter what.
I enjoyed this, it had a good amount of drama without being over the top. And the angst and spice was done well.
Enjoyed Cristian immensely. Vanessa I felt played Martyr and whined a lot.
I was hooked from the get go, and I love the Bianco brothers.
Vanessa obviously had a lot of insecurity and stuff to work through, kind of dealing with her mom's death from 20 years ago and how she was raised by her dad after that. She avoided the problems instead of like figuring her shit out
Cristian is a sweet middle child who caretakes everyone. Makes sure they are ok first. He's a sweetie and is just showing Vanessa he loves her but she is like um no too fast.
This is a cute (clean) small town standalone.
Bethany inherited her dad's coffee shop, and is in crazy debt. No and in sight.
Maverick is a business consultant and wants to help her shop turn a profit. He ends up wanting to save HER more than he wants to save the coffee shop.
He comes with new processes and ideas to help her find the problem areas.
Bethany also has surprises in her personal life when her half sisters unexpectedly show up and need her help.
It was heartfelt, a little emotional, and wholesome.

Catie is very involved in the community and constantly butts heads with Will. She has a crush on him but can't help but be in his face, and email, about doing better for the community when he's resistant to her ideas.
Catie has fortress walls up, and once Will gets his head on straight that he has complicated feelings for her, he's patient. He shows up and shows her that he's there for her no matter what.

Is Hans a bit of a stalker? Sure. But he does it to make sure Cassandra is safe!!! And he has good intentions so it's fine.
He was so obsessed with her it was hilarious and crazy. But Cassie was all for it once she learned who he was and what exactly he does for a living.
Mixed feelings but overall, really enjoyed. I was very hesitant to read because of the age gap. I love an age gap but this felt like it pushed the limits.
