I don’t know if it’s just this authour’s signature style, but I feel they utilize texting/email a LOT. Almost too much? It’s a nice break from dialogue and inner monologue but at times it felt just a little too frequent.

I loved how Ethan and Anders really healed the other, despite their insecurities of being not enough/second choice.

Sort of enemies, more dislike to flirting to boss x assistant to lovers but oh so fun!!

It was ok, I liked the concept but I found it lacked chemistry

Isac pined after Max (who is 11/12 years older), and max never felt the same way. Then one day Isac takes his shirt off and max is interested. I understand they were close friends prior to the crush and declaration, but we didn’t SEE it so I didn’t feel it.

I really did enjoy this, and I loved the second chance, forgetting about the past and moving forward.

I thought the emails back and forth were fun and cute.

wild’s friend June was kind of wildly obnoxious? I know she had good intentions but she could be a LOT at times.

Despite his fears, Jax spoke with actions that he wanted and loved Wild. Despite his faults and hesitations, once given the opportunity of a second chance he made sure his intentions were clear.

I loved the writing, I thought it was done quite beautifully.

I feel like the premise had so much potential, but just did not play out well.

The dialogue was cringey, and everything was said. Like we saw the events happen, and then the narrator MC would then have dialogue being like ok so it’s this? Any world building, it only occurred in real time of relevant to the story (vampires being sensitive to sunlight - he had a day job but didn’t clock for 6 years about it until another vampire told him about it and other vampire rules)

The characters lacked chemistry as well, it was instant dating without the good insta love stuff I enjoy. It was a random kiss and ok we’re dating!!

When the MC who is always taking care of others but never themself, finds a partner who takes care and prioritized them FIRST

So so charming and wholesome. I loved the banter, and how Anders brought Wells out of his grouchy self isolating shell.

Anders was kind of forced into parenthood of his 2 siblings at 18, now he’s 30, caught in a lie that he dreams of running a triathlon.

Wells is his trainer, former NHL player who lost his leg in a car accident.

Neither WANT to do this training, but Anders is a warm hug in person, and his charm and snark challenges Wells who is just as stubborn.

Loved the chemistry and how we saw Anders’ body insecurities and normalizing them. AND he didn’t like immediately change his body to fit and thin. He got stronger from training but his body shape wasn’t the story.

I liked how there was lots of different POV chapters, not just the main couple Phoenix and Adri.

Author is clearly setting up for her sister, Dee and Kaz (phoenix’s enforcer) HOWEVER the age gap is 17 and 33 or something which is yucky so I’m not interested?

I feel like the story had kind of run its course, and can easily end here. The main couple has their HEA. Anything further is just … epilogue material so. I don’t think it needs a third book so I’ll skip it before I’m annoyed

I really liked it, and the story was entertaining! I love a rejected mate trope

I think I wanted a bit more grovelling, and more of phoenix and adri’s wolves running together. We got a couple of “my wolf connects to you” vibes but we didn’t SEE it happening

Phoenix is SO cool. He has too much respect and restraint lol

Looking forward to more of this series

Just as good, if not better from Whit’s perspective.

It brings back almost nostalgic feelings, and it takes me back to whit and Caleb, how much I loved them and being re-introduced to this universe again.

This was so sweet and so fun.

Connor and Jamie, boss x assistant, but also secretly anonymously messaging on a words with friends app.

It was cute, and I loved how Jamie’s extrovert fun and wild self balanced out Connor’s anxiety and neurodivergent mind.

Neither asked the other to be “more” or “less” they just settled into a calmness that worked

What. A. Way. To end a 10 book series.

I was not ready for it to be over, but it was an excellent conclusion of a book.

I would have like a LITTLE more sappy moments from the collective, but I’m so happy that Lachie got passed the collective C torch.

Lachie and Sam were so sweet and wonderful. They were fun and playful, but I had so many emo moments

I love these guys and I’m certain I’ll revisit them again 💖

Like this author a lot, and the writing

This was a best friends/childhood friends to lovers with kind of gay awakening? We later learn Gray is pan so I guess pan awakening

There was nothing spectacular about it but it was a sweet easy read with low angst

I loved how Matty was just swooning over his Scary and everyone else was horrified and scared of Nightmare lol

Truly love this authour and universe it’s always so fun

Sweet but extra spicy MM omegaverse fun

Absolutely delightful. Cannot get enough of this universe!

Chaos was a cute chaotic feathery demon that I love so much

Neither character was that amazing, both annoying in their own way.

By the end, Lexi forgave him WAY too quickly even though he was a massive douche and awful person

Connor had his charming moments, but generally just terrible

So so fun!!

Sly and charming Nix with his grouchy mobster Ivan

An unexpected but entertaining pair. They worked well because Nix could sense Ivan’s feelings without him having to vocalize it

They brought out the best in each other and had fun, which poor Ivan needed so badly

Love this universe forever

this authour has always been on my radar, but their whole universe was always intimidating to jump into. The attempt had started; and I’m tying to go in reading order according to her website.

The MMC is unhinged and a bully. This seems like the kind of book you need to be in the mood for?? I was in the mood for something darker but this was not exciting to me

Their chemistry is off the charts but their characters overall were boring. Typical jock football/soccer star who is untouchable, everyone even the teachers are scared to go against him. FMC artist who is invisible until she’s not, and MMC is feral for her.

Asshole boss mixed with a bit of amnesia! The angst was angsty, watching Lucy trying to recover her memories and JP watching himself be this unknown person in her life

After finding everything out, I think Lucy gave in too quick?? He grovelled hard, and it was mature of her to meet half way but it felt jarring

Not as good as the first instalment, but entertaining none the less.

This pregnancy was even more unexpected! Titan had great character growth, and Ezra’s storyline and familial side plots were a huge surprise lol

Corbin’s story will be intriguing.. will it be MMM??

Really fun and flirty! We got to see alexei and Jay (yay!!!!!) from the vampire mate’s series which is always a delight

Loved Ivan a lot, and his insecure he secretly was and how Kai was the surprising perfect match for him

This was SO funny and charming

It gave MM ice planet barbarian, but the alien ended up on earth

al was the sweetest little alien himbo. I ADORE him

Jude was very much “Jesus take the wheel” and went along with A LOT. His hesitation was so understood, even if it broke poor Al’s heart in the process

It was good, very classic foreign nanny comes to live with the billionaire, so inexperienced but she’s pretty so she stays

Eventually they have sex, he instantly regrets it which makes her feel awful

She flees home, grovel, HEA

The ending was expected, and I was still entertained

I had issues with the pacing at the end, a lot of 1 week later, 2 weeks later, etc etc. it felt a lot was skipped around to just conclude it

It was very heart warming, focused a lot on hurt and healing.

There were times I felt this dragged a bit, and some of the characters moments were cheesy, but I was always rooting for them.

Sweet, but a lot of IBS talk. I get it’s “real life” and people suffer with this, but too many times were we talking about poor Lando shitting his pants or they were in the bathroom together while he’s exploding

Lando always kept Harry at arms length, always needing snuggles but never let him emotionally get close for fear of abandonment.

Harry was very quick to forgive after basically a year of radio silence

Short and sweet, hot insta love fun.
