Adam and Charlotte used to be married, but their son's death broke them apart. But when Charlotte is attacked by a serial killer, Adam is on the case as an FBI agent, and he's quick to discover his feelings for her aren't quite dead after all. Finding the killer was nerve-wracking as he continues to attack people in the town.
I loved the dog, Clover the poodle mix, and he takes a strong role in the story. I also really enjoyed Bubbles, the elderly neighbor.
