Samantha at Saratoga

Very well written, and with an evident cleverness to it that leads me to think the author was laughing at every page she wrote. Samantha was often annoying, which is why it didn't net a better-than-good rating, but she was charming too. I particularly enjoyed the vintage descriptions of travel life for a country couple.
