When Was the Last Time

Kelly Jensen writes about how important it is to keep your relationship front and center in When Was the Last Time (Dreamspinner Press, 9781634770446, 2016). In between flashbacks and present time we see from Paul's view how his relationship has gotten to this place.

I do not want to give anything away as this is a short story, but it packs the appropriate punch reminder. There are no bad guys in this story. No cheating. Just life getting busy as it does. Jensen just gives us a reminder through Paul and Evan to not take each other for granted in a non-preaching way. A great Valentine reminder that love is just not one day a year.
