Fascinating crime story. Well written. Great characterisation. Great plot. A pretty serious book, no humor, but mesmerizing. I don’t think I have ever read anything like it.

I listened to an audiobook. It’s a little hard to get who’s who at first, because of multiple POV’s, but hang in there, after a while it gets better.

This is a short novel. A mother of the bride - a typical Anne Tyler protagonist: full of doubt but not insecure - rethinks her own marriage and divorce. She is prompted by the unexpected arrival of her ex (plus cat) as a house guest. Laugh out loud funny at times. Warm.

A little disappointing after The God of the Woods. Drawn out too long. Lovely characters though.

Great storytelling, but his books always leave me feeling somewhat besmirched. Such love of capitalism and monarchy etc.

All Eddie Flynn legal thrillers are great fun. Fast paced with clever plots.
