I think this is the most unhinged book that I’ve read by SK. My jaw was dropped for most of the book. Asher is an assassin tasked with killing Echo but when he fails to complete his task, the same target that he was meant to take out is now tasked with taking him out. That ending had me shocked, what is it with dead people coming back to life in all books all of a sudden?

I felt so bad for both Echo and Asher, both of them deserved better. Echo not only lost her mother when she was a teenager but she had to witness her SA and murder and her father wasn’t much of a father, not to mention the 🍇 she had to endure for years from her father’s own employee. Asher had endured 🍇 after losing a close friend and I don’t blame either of them for turning out the way they did.

This may not have been one of my favorite reads by SK but I’m sure curious about book two. If you’d like to give this book a read I highly suggest that you check out the content warnings because it’s a whole menu.

This is such a great collection of poems. There were so many that I bookmarked or highlighted but the one that truly hit close to home was the one titled “Reflections of Imperfections” under the Body Acceptance and Self Worth Collection.

If this I can do for a friend, then I plea

why am I kind to them, but not to me?”

This was truly my favorite poem in the entire collection, if you need affirmations you can surely find that in this collection as well. I recommend you give this a read.

First time reader of Melanie, and I am OBSESSED! The way I knew that Rafael could not be trusted the minute he was mentioned is crazy. As much as I tried to believe that he truly just wanted what was best for Olivia I just couldn’t. Trust your gut people! I loved Jose and absolutely hated his sister. I loved the mystery this book had, I enjoyed learning new things about Olivia as she learned them herself. When I tell you I was shocked in the end, believe me, I didn’t expect it to end that way but I’m not mad at it and it makes me very excited to see how this series goes.

SK does it once again. Always shocking me (but in a good way). So much happened that I can’t even put it all into words without spoiling it for the rest. I was so ready to see Micah and Ella/Snow White/Phoenix together again, I definitely needed more scenes with the pair. I was so sad for Micah until SK said “SIKE!” in that one scene and all seemed to be right in the world, though his parents were a real piece of work. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!

This was a nice quick read, and I could not get enough of Sadie and Jagger. Once the annoying boyfriend was out of the way it was more enjoyable. There is just something about a biker best friend that is so in love with you that gets me going and bonus points when they’re as protective as Jagger was. If you’re looking for a quick HOT read, I suggest giving this novella a try.

First read by Kate Crew and it will not be the last. Reagan Fletcher is the rich girl, the good girl that always did what daddy asked of her in hopes that he would let her take over his company once he passed. Rook is the unhinged biker with a need for revenge after the tragic death of his parents. Meeting the daughter of the man that ruined his life and took his parents from him was not part of the plan but now that he had, he wasn’t going to let her out of his sight.

This book was entertaining though I found the FMC a bit juvenile at times. For a rich girl that’s supposed to be good she sure seemed to be okay with how unhinged Rook was a little too quickly. The banter was everything and the scene where Rook was submissive to his girl was not at all expected but it was sure ENJOYED. (WALK HIM LIKE A DOG SIS!) The spicy scenes were indeed spicing and the cute scenes were giving. I loved how protective Rook was of Reagan and vice versa. Girly really had no issue pulling a gun on someone for threatening Rook’s life and I was here for it.

If you enjoy your books with banter and a hot MMC that just can’t get enough of his girl (even when he’s using her for revenge) then this is the book for you.

This book is all smut and no plot, not even a little bit… This is odd for me considering I’m such a big fan of RH and I don’t really mind the smut and no plot, but I feel like if it had a plot I would have been more interesting. I didn’t enjoy this book at all. I kept putting it down because it just wasn’t keeping my attention.

I don’t know what it was about this book that just couldn’t keep me focused. I kept putting the book down or just spacing out while reading and completely forgetting what I had previously read. From the bits that I remember from the book I could not stand Nina; she was way too annoying. Are you a child or are you an adult that is able to drink and know your limit? My bet is on being a child. I really tried to give the book a chance, but it just wasn’t for me.

It was a cute story centered around the holidays, it was the reason I wanted to read this book. The only disappointment was that it was all written in third person so it took me some time to get through it. Based on the sneak peak that was posted within the ARC it seems like all the books are written in third person so I this author wouldn't be my first choice. Doesn't stop me from wondering what happened with Lily or Noah.

I was very excited to read this book until I actually started reading it. It's just something about Bridget that prevents me from connecting with her. I do love the friendships and how protective the team is but other than that I can't really say I enjoyed or cared if the main characters got together. I feel like they were doing too much and Ash should've just left that girl alone after the first “no”

First time reader of Quinn, it was a fast read for me with a fast moving plot. There were too many emotions for such a fast read if I am being entirely honest–irritation, confusion and anger mostly. Paul Summers was the most annoying, disgusting man in that book. All he did was take, take, take and on top of that tried to control April’s profession. I would have divorced that man when he went behind my back and told people at MY job that I was going part-time… and they just took his word for it. The cop Manning, annoying as hell and was on a power trip talking about “this is my town” last time I checked, his name wasn’t plastered around the town. Trixie annoyed me and it annoyed me even more when they (the bikers) chose to ignore what she did knowing damn well she was the cause of Cinder’s death and the way she tried to get under April’s skin didn’t sit right with me either.

I can’t quite put my finger on why I struggled so much and I was considering a re-read at a later date but eating out your mate while she’s on her period is a HUGE NO for me and put a stop to my reread thoughts expeditiously lol. If y’all don’t mind that little part then this could be a great fit for you, just not for me.

First time reader of Maribelle, I have to say I feel like I would’ve enjoyed this book a little more if it was told from their POVs. It being written in third person for me it doesn’t show their emotions as it should and I would’ve loved to see how the characters felt from their POVs.

This was a cute read but it was more annoying than anything. I would’ve loved to get more of Cassidy & Hunter without the sassiness that Cassidy had in her. I would’ve really loved it if I enjoyed this book as much as I thought I was going to…

This was a cute read but I expected to like it just as much as the first Kristen Proby book I read (The Stand-In) but sadly that was not the case. I will say that the stalker plot twist that was thrown in there was the reason this went back up to three stars, honestly the story just didn’t give me anything new that would differentiate from other single dad x nanny books I have read.
