I tried to get into this book but I caught myself stopping every few pages. Honestly all the characters were unhinged asf (that wasn’t the issue, I love unhinged characters) and Andy well she got on my damn nerves. I honestly only seemed to enjoy the book when there were steamy scenes and even then I found myself distracted. The twist towards the end though had me a little shook even though I suspected it at first. Make sure to check out the trigger warnings if you’re interested in picking this one up.

This was a quick, cute read but at the same time I wish the FMC didn’t annoy me as much as she did…

This is my first read by Emma Reese and I wish it would’ve gone better than it did? This book follows Callum and Darcy. Callum is now a big rock star with a much needed break from touring. He decides to go back home and accidentally makes his solo debut while trying to start his own musical journey aside from the band. Darcy is Callum’s sister’s best friend, after a misunderstanding on their first date in high school Darcy attempts to keep her distance from Callum but obviously fails. That one misunderstanding has ruined her trust in Callum, as in she does not trust him at all, everything he says she questions. Personally I think if only they would have talked to each other sooner, they would have settled their issues instantly.

I loved Liz (Callum’s sister) and her support for her bestie’s relationship with her brother. Totally hated Callum’s manager, the man had no respect for boundaries and he was just a bully all around. I was so glad that Callum finally stood up for himself! Was it my favorite read? Not entirely but still the book was interesting enough to keep me reading. If you’re into small town romances, rock star romances, second chances and best friend’s brother this might be the book for you.

I was very entertained by this read, I couldn’t put it down and then a surprise guest appeared 79% and the book almost lost me but I decided to pull through because I was already 79% in. That guest appearance reminded me of another book I read late last year and I felt the same way–annoyed and irritated. Marchello got on my nerves 100% of the time that man was mentioned, he had no respect for Milo (read the book and then tell me if he respected him or not) let alone Kiara. I actually did enjoy the spice but I would’ve loved if the book was also told from his POV before it got to the epilogue.

I thought I was going to enjoy this book more than I did, sadly that was not the case. Jameson might have gotten on my nerves a bit especially when he was introduced to Harlan, I honestly felt so bad for the guy and wanted nothing more than to smack Jameson upside the head. I did like the way Jade bonded with his girls though, that was great to read and the book itself was well written so don’t let my rating deter you from picking it up, you might like it, it was just simply not what I personally expected.

Why did it have to be the cheating trope???? This is not the chaos I was expecting 💀 if you don’t mind the cheating trope then I think you would enjoy this book.

I’m a little upset that I didn’t enjoy this book as much as I wanted to. I’m a fan of the stepfather x stepdaughter trope but maybe not when she’s freshly 18? Christine was a little much for me though, she was a little too naive in my opinion which ticked me off a lot. “My uncle would never hurt me” she says AFTER he smacked her across the face for not wanting to get married to a literal WOMAN BEATER! Like miss girl, please be serious. I don’t think I have hated a fictional family as much as I hated Christine’s family and no one can convince me that Sienna was not the person Giovani hired to follow Christine & Niccolo. This book was a little too much annoyance and not a lot of enjoyment. I seriously hope the third book makes up for this one…

I did not like Tom’s attitude in the beginning whatsoever. The fact that he even thought about being with other women after getting married immediately turned me off lol. Also the name Tom, sir with a name like that you shouldn’t be acting the way you were acting. I was definitely going to DNF it but then decided to keep reading because he hadn’t cheated yet. This book seemed to be more smut than it was plot (not that I minded that one bit) the smut was so good but again I just couldn’t connect with Tom. I did like the way he protected Aurora and the jealousy he displayed whenever a man got too close to her. The writing itself was great, as far as recommending the book, I would recommend it simply because I feel like others wouldn’t have a problem connecting with Tom, it’s just a me thing that caused me to reduce the rating.

I wish I could say I enjoyed the second book more than the first one but that doesn’t seem to be the case for me. The story was going well and then Damian goes to see Agathe. I have mixed feelings about the whole Damian and Agathe scene. I realize the man was drunk but he wasn’t drunk when he showed up at Agathe’s door. I absolutely loved Sage though and how bad ass she was, that right there is a ride or die. The ending though 😬, Astrid give me book 3 ASAP. I got way too many questions.

At first I wasn’t really feeling this book but I decided to stick it out. When I say this is a slow burn, take my word for it. As always I seem to have a personal issue with the MCs parents. Both of them were horrible and apparently the mother did not know what boundaries were. Mitch’s disappearance, in my opinion, was a bit extra, the whole separation from Gideon could’ve been solved with one conversation but instead Mitch decided to take off and only tell one of his brothers. The ending felt a bit rushed to me but I was glad to see that Mitch found what he was missing and that he realized that he had more people in his corner than he thought. The side characters were great, I loved Emery’s energy and chaoticness.

First Agnes book and I read this in one sitting. Had me hooked from the very beginning. These characters were so unhinged in my opinion, but I LOVED EVERY MINUTE of this book. It immediately starts with SH so be aware of that if that’s a trigger for you. Isra was insane and I’m still upset about what she did to Sophia.

Aeliana and Malakai…

I was NOT ready for how the relationship came to be. I was a little shocked that the relationship was so abusive–not that it even started out right to begin with. Once they were alone it was like one second, they’re talking and the next they’re beating the crap out of each other (this is putting it mildly). The relationship was a little insane but overall, it was a great read. Agnes is such a great writer, and I can’t wait to read more of her work.

When the author of this book reached out about an exchange/collaboration—an ebook in exchange for a review, I didn’t expect—actually I don’t know what I expected. I’m not someone that usually enjoys reading anything other than romance, fantasy, and smut I have to say that this book intrigued me because, well I am someone that was diagnosed with ADHD and I for one do not enjoy being medicated for it.

There was so much information about ADHD that I did not know about and I really enjoyed learning throughout this 📖. I appreciated the author’s humor throughout the chapters and the integrated illustrations because, let’s be honest, my brain would immediately wander off without it. I cannot wait to implement some if not all of the techniques mentioned in this book to help manage my ADHD starting with a change in my diet.

If you are someone who struggles with ADHD I definitely recommend giving this book a try, you might find some way to help you manage your ADHD.

I. Ate. This. Book. Up. Could not put it down. City was just IT for me (maybe that’s just the h*rny part of me talking but every word that man said had me squirming & smiling like a dummy.) He’s the tatted up, bad boy, biker type with a good heart. The minute that man was introduced I was like “yup, I found a new book boyfriend.” Meanwhile here is Suzy, a math teacher, who seems to be a goodie two-shoes to everyone, looking for the white picket fence, “American dream” as she called it but to her best friend Sophia and her best friend’s Fiancée Kayden, she was as dirty minded as the rest of us but damn was that girl JUDGY as f**k. She had a checklist, a checklist that every man she’s dated filled BUT the chemistry was absolutely not there & they never once cared to satisfy her in bed. Hmm, some would take that to mean “f**k the checklist” but not her. She was definitely my least favorite character.

The book is not for everyone (not everyone can get past the judgmental side of Suzy Sunshine) but I definitely recommend it to my h*rny little friends out there.

This is the first time I read anything by this author, I also don’t usually read many sports romance but now I NEED to go back and read books 1-4 simply because this story was just that good.

Ashlyn sneaks out with her best friend Nina for a party and meets Brandon Dixon. They immediately hit it off but things happen, threats are thrown and she makes the decision to walk away from him to save herself & his career. 15 years later and those shared feelings have not faded. This is a second chance for them both and they intend on taking it. This time they’re not letting anything get in the way, not even Ashlyn’s stalker.

I loved this book, the way it was written & Ashlyn & Brandon’s story and how they finally made their way back to each other. If you want a book that’s about sports, romance and above all family then this is the book for you.

Kristen Proby gained a new permanent reader. This was just such a cute story I couldn’t and didn’t want to put the book down unless I absolutely had to and even when I had to put it down I took it with me to sneak in some reading lol. There was not a single character I did not like in this book—okay that’s a lie, I couldn’t stand Felix (I still can’t), I couldn’t stand London’s first assistant & I couldn’t stand her annoying father (he turned it around and got me on his side barely).

London Ambrose is a very successful businesswoman & an even better mom to Caleb, she also happens to be Drew’s boss. Drew Montgomery was a quarterback until the incident that ended his football career, now he’s content with being the coach for London’s team. When they start talking about seeing each other outside of the office London makes sure that Drew understands that no one will ever be a priority over her son. Drew doesn’t mind it, in fact he respects it considering his own mother was a single mom before she met his father.

If you want a cute story with a found family and a very understanding & supportive book boyfriend, look no further, this is it!

A hard-working man that likes to be in control and hates asking for help and his adorable seven year old daughter Fiona. These characters were so easy to love. This is a MUST read oh and did I mention that Jackson seems to be a Taylor Swift fan 👀 if that doesn’t get you to read this book I don’t know what will.

The main characters are so easy to love, especially Rory simply because we’re alike. I didn’t expect Lawson to be the way he was and I think that’s why I liked him so much. I really appreciated that he pressure Rory into saying those 3 little words.I absolutely loved this book and I can’t wait to read more of Teagan’s work.

Twist Me

Twist Meby

Book Title: Twist Me (The Asylum Devils #1)

Author: SK Pryntz

Format: Digital – Kindle

Star Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

‼️ I always say to keep an eye out for the trigger warnings, and this time isn’t any different. I have provided the list of triggers in the next slide so if you would rather go in blind, don’t swipe. ‼️

𝑫𝑬𝑫𝑰𝑪𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵: “Say a prayer now for all the sins you will commit for us.” - The Asylum Devils

𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒊𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒐𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈:

Why choose (MFMM)

Degradation

Stalker romance

Unhinged triplets

𝑭𝑨𝑽𝑶𝑹𝑰𝑻𝑬 𝑸𝑼𝑶𝑻𝑬: “You are sin, Little Lamb. You’ve given yourself to the fucking devils, and now, you’re ours.” - Goliath Masters

Once again I’m blown away by how SK’s mind works. This book follows Ezello, the latina cop that goes undercover to discover who is behind the disappearances in the Asylum where she meets the totally hot but totally insane triplets–Pharoah, Goliath and Judas. She’s there to do one job but what happens when she is taken by the very person she’s looking for and is said to have run away with her “star-crossed” lover, Goliath.

“𝑂ℎ, 𝐿𝑖𝑡𝑡𝑙𝑒 𝐿𝑎𝑚𝑏, 𝑟𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝐼 𝑠𝑎𝑖𝑑 𝐼 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑎 𝑤𝑜𝑙𝑓? 𝐼 𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑔𝑜𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛… 𝐼 ℎ𝑢𝑛𝑡 𝑖𝑛 𝑎 𝑝𝑎𝑐𝑘.”

No one should be surprised that my favorite part of the entire book was when they were at the amusement park for her birthday. One thing about me, I am an absolute sucker for the MFC being chased around whether it’s in a forest or in a mirror house and now added to the list is an abandoned amusement park. Call me crazy but I ate that scene up.

My least favorite part of the book was definitely the ending. SK how dare you do my boy Pharoah like that? That ending was heartbreaking and he deserved so much better. This ending also left me with so many questions. Why was it done in the same way that it was done to Quinn’s sister?

“You’ll follow the public’s rules tonight and you will respect her. Am I clear?” — Ian Knight

This book follows Jenna Prescott who just lost her parents and on top of that they left everything they had to her older brother Tyler. This leaves Jenna working at Club Euphoria. She quickly get the attention of the club owner and things start to get spicy. This was so well written, but I’m not surprised coming from Valentina. This was a great read and I’m so ready to jump into the next book!
