This was fantastic.

There is absolutely no one else like Kelly Link. I had to clear my palate between each story by reading something else–that's how strange these stories were.

This book had a great premise, but was really, really terrible. Nothing happened. Nothing. I only finished it because I was trapped in the truck for an hour with nothing else to read.

Loved this, even though it was much darker than the other Penderwicks.

I enjoyed this a lot, though Scott said it was repetitive.

A fun, quick read.

Four and a half stars. This is the kind of book that makes YA truly great.

Take Jane Eyre and chop it up a bit, mix it with Nazi Germany, and you'll have this book.

Eagerly awaiting the sequel.

This was so, so hilarious. So many great one-liners. I loved it.

I loved the characters and the realistic way they were portrayed. Not sure about the ending.

At least this wasn't as horrifying as it could have been, based on his other books. It was a bit strange and distancing, though.

I skimmed this, so you can take my review with a grain of salt. However, I can say that it really seemed the author does not understand the difference between correlation and causality. Also, while she shares plenty of horror stories, and plenty of desperate letters that parents send to her, she has very few solutions or advice, other than “talk to your children.” I was going that anyway, thanks very much.

This was really strange and seemed sort of pointless. Maybe it was just the constantly changing third person point of view, but I couldn't connect with it.

Not my favorite, but, it's a Tess, so I loved it.

LOVED how this all ended. What a great series.

I liked this better than the first one since the characters weren't drunk for the majority of the book, but there was one truly awful part.

Wanted this to be funnier than it was.

Best Nick Hornby in a while. :)

I liked how it was sort of an opposite love story.

So, so long! But a lot of fun. I definitely want to read more of his stuff–just on my Kindle next time!

Peter has to read this for school, so I'm reading, too. Enjoying it all over again. :)

I finally had to give up on this. It was really good, but also mostly pretty obvious. Had to return it to the library, but I'd like to check it out again and finish it some day.

Fun, but a goofy ending.

A bit too much of wish fulfillment, but still a fun read.
