The semifinals ramp things up even further as Yukihira Souma faces off Mimasaka Subaru, and Hayama Akira takes on Kurokiba Ryo. Both fights are intense affairs, pitting the depths of each chef's skills against each other. We get to see more backstory for each of them, particularly Mimasaka Subaru, and how he got this way, and with Souma's usually stay-strong attitude, manages to turn him around. Lastly, the declaration of who were the finalists had a bit of a twist.
