Recently I made a Facebook post asking for book recommendations that centred on a man wanting a baby and the woman providing that, erm, service, for lack of a better word, and them falling in love in the process, why you ask? Well, I've read a few where it's the other way around, the woman wanting the baby and although I like them, I wanted something a bit different. I got a couple of recommendations, but the consensus was that it's a theme I wouldn't really be able to get my hands on unless I pitched it to an author. So, imagine how excited I was when I read the synopsis for this book. And it combines two of my favourite themes; single parent and friends to lovers. I felt it was done really well. It was fun and sexy, sweet and heart-warming. It has an insta-love feel to it even though Seth and Ally have been friends for years, it's like once they crossed that line, they really crossed it. Although this is a sexy book I think it has different dimensions to it and the listener will get something different out of it depending on their mood at the time. You have the typical sexy times fun, which if that's what you're looking for you won't be disappointed, but it also has a story of a woman that is a mother even though she didn't give birth to the child and that thread of the story is what really stood out the most for me, then, of course, you have the friendship aspect and how that changes and grows. It's an easy listen, fun, sweet and sexy. Something for everyone. And have you seen this cover? Gah! Swoon! It's just adorable, talk about melting panties (yours, not mine!), and it includes both narrators names, which I love.

I loved these characters, Seth, Ally and Laurie make the perfect family, how did they not see this before? Gah! Talk about wanting to bang heads together. Ally has had a lot to deal with in her life and it's understandable that she'd be reluctant to do something that could ruin her friendship with the one person that has seen her through the tough times. She's always been there for Seth and Laurie, they're her family. Seth, swoon, he's all the things, successful, charming, sexy, a great dad. What's not to like? No wonder Ally is in love with him. Sure, he's frustrating, he doesn't see what is right in front of him, but he's a guy, we gotta give him a break somewhere - he makes up for it.
Laurie is the sweetest thing, a little madam at times, but sweet none the less. That little girl knew what was going on before Seth and Ally did, and it was cute to see that play out. There were a couple of scenes that really hit you in the gut between Laurie and Ally and they really gave the book an emotional aspect to the story that I wasn't expecting. Oliver and Sage were fun side characters and I'm looking forward to listening to their story because their chemistry had sparks.

I liked that this book didn't waste any time getting to the proposition and that the bulk of the story was around these two friends becoming more. The banter between Seth and Ally was fun and gave a feel for their friendship, it made it believable that these two people had been friends for years. The sexy times are melt your headphones hot, Taryn Quinn really knows how to turn up the heat and write a fun and sexy scene. I liked the progression the characters went through and how their thoughts changed and the realisations of their feelings. It made them feel real. The conflict wasn't overdone and didn't last long, long enough to wonder what was going on and wanting to bash heads, but not long enough to lose interest in the story. The way everything and everyone came together was heart-warming.

This is another wonderful duet performance by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. Their voices complement each other perfectly. The chemistry between the characters is always evident and that is no different with this book. Their comedic timing is spot on and seems to go with the author's vision. The emotional aspects of the story were performed with heart, that makes the listener react, I'm not saying tears were shed, but.... yeah, ok, I am, tears were shed, just a few though. The sexy times are pretty hot, blushes are to be expected, especially when paired with Kai and Wen's voices. You want to talk about a swoonfest? Wen Ross performing a single Father, of a little girl, no less, if you don't swoon, I think you might be unswoonable. It was heart-meltingly sweet, some of the scenes between Seth and Laurie were just... sigh, I can't even. Speaking of Laurie, Kai Kennicott was on fire as that feisty four-year-old. It kinda stole the show, is there anything she can't perform the heck out of? I say, no!
The production was great with no issues I noted.

Catherine Barrington and Christopher Carmichael were teenage lovers separated by circumstance. Life happens, they move on. But what happens when your lost love finds you? Can you ever go back? Or move forward? Join Catherine and Chris as they try to answer that very question.

It's no secret that I love CD Reiss' words. Her writing is captivating and intense. The way she pulls the reader into a scene is brilliant and memorable. White Knight is no exception. I adore how she tackled this second chance romance. For me, this book felt very poetic. The way it included the up and downs, the emotion, and struggle. It was both heart-breaking and uplifting. Recently, I've become a big fan of contemporary romance and this is one that will stay with me for a long time. It made me sad, it made me tear up, and at least once it made me angry. But, it also made me smile, it made me swoon, and it filled my heart with happiness. This is CD Reiss at her best!

Although it's not necessary to read King of Code and/ or Prince Charming before White Knight, I did, because I read each as they were released. I can safely say you can read this at any point, it stands by itself completely, however, having already read them, it was wonderful to visit with the residents of Barrington again, seeing them in a different light. Especially seeing Harper from Catherine's POV. White Knight will definitely whet your appetite for KoC, if you haven't read it yet.

Catherine has such a sweet and kind soul, but fierce when she needs to be. I just adored her. She was so strong, probably a lot stronger than she ever gave herself credit for, the way she took on the role of protector for the town. It was awe-inspiring. She deserved a HEA. Chris is your typical romance hero, but at the same time, he's different. Sure, he's smart and sexy, but, he's also willing to do whatever it takes to earn back the love of Catherine because he knows, he just knows she's the one for him. I loved the combination of the past and present, showing what their relationship was like. It gave the progression of their relationship a raw and organic feel to it. It also gave their feelings that much more power because we got to experience it with them. There is this one scene that involves a table (that's all I'm saying, you'll have to read it to understand), I think I may have melted, it was sweet and beautiful and one of the highlights of this book. It just took something small and made it huge, made it special. It was so them! The sexy times were, well, sexy. Both in their innocence to begin with and in the experience of later. Seeing that physical progression was just as important to their story as the emotional connection.

I honestly could have continued to read about this couple for another few hours, if CD Reiss had wanted to draw the book out, they were such a joy to spend time with. However, in pure Reiss fashion, when the book was done, it was done. She doesn't use filler to increase the word count, every sentence has its place and its purpose to the story. I think that is one of the main things I love about her writing. Every word has its reason for being there. It makes it such an intense and beautiful reading experience. I cannot wait for the audiobook.

This is the first book I've listened to by Emma Chase, but it won't be my last. I loved how it was written and how it was sweet and sexy and emotional and heartfelt. I love the humour. I listened to it in one sitting, once I started it I just didn't want to stop. I really like the cover too, it gives an idea of the story and contains the narrators names.
Getting Schooled is such a sweet and sexy story. I loved it. I laughed, boy did I laugh. I even cried (big fat tears at one point). The characters really made this story. The supporting cast was a wonderful addition, they really made a difference in this story and I hope we see more of them in the future. The kids were adorable.
Garrett was a sweetheart, I just loved him. The scenes with his nephews and the dogs just gutted me. He's the type of book boyfriend everybody wants. Callie was awesome, I liked how she handled things and forgave easily. Whereas Garrett's appeal as in his emotion, for Callie it was all about her thought processes – they were both huge positives in this book and made them endearing as characters. I loved how we didn't have to wait long for Garrett and Callie to reconnect and how their connection was palpable. The sexy times were downright sexy and fit with the characters and what was happening. It was great how it centre's on a return home and that old adage ‘who says you can't go home?' or, maybe it's not an adage but a song, shrugs my inner Bon Jovi girl just wanted to use that line.
Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt are a great team, I was super happy to see them pair up for this book and really enjoyed their performance. The scene with the dog was probably my favourite due to the performance and how it affected me. They both put so much emotion into their performances and it's beautiful to listen to. Their comedic timing is always spot on. The production was great with no issues that I noted.
The interview with Emma Chase at the end of the book was a lovely addition and gave insight into the book and I loved hearing about what the plan is for this series.

Can we talk about this cover? I mean, come on! I adore it so much. It's stunning, and so Ethan and Tori. I just keep going back and gazing at it. Beautiful!

This book was such a joy to read, I loved every second of it. I loved Shameless so much and couldn't wait to get my hands on Reckless, and it didn't disappoint. It was sweet and sexy. Totally a standalone, it's set years after Shameless, although Kat and Brady do make appearances it's not necessary to read their story first, but seriously, why wouldn't you? They're awesome.

I love Lex's writing, the way she pulls you into the scene and the story that you lose all sense of where you are and who is around you. I got lost a lot with this book, I was torn between wanting to get to the end and find out what happened to wanting it to last longer. It was all the things. It's not a secret that I adore single parent stories, there is just something about the struggle the parent goes through and somebody coming into their lives and loving the children like their own, ya know? It gives me all the feels.

In all honesty, I wasn't particularly fond of Tori in Shameless, but I totally loved her in this book, she was feisty and vulnerable. I really felt for her a few times through the story. The way she cared for the children and stood up for herself. Yes! Tori's growth through the story was wonderful to see and the development of her character really made the story. Ethan, oh boy, I wanna save a horse and ride a cowboy too, especially if he's anything like the sweet, hardworking, loving father that Ethan is. He wasn't afraid to say he screwed up. I just adored him. Logan was a great side character, that bad boy needs a book. Friends to Lovers? Yes please! Seriously, Lex, I'll do almost anything, just gimme! Allison, ugh, I hated her. So much. I wanted to throat-punch her on more than one occasion. Mila and Cody stole the show, they were the sweetest things.

The way Ethan and Tori's relationship started and progressed and changed was wonderful to be a part of. There wasn't a lot of angst, the conflict was not dragged out and I really enjoyed that about this story. It really focused on their relationship together and with the children - some of those moments were so precious. I may have teared up at seemingly random moments. It had some great humour, usually courtesy of Logan, but it wasn't overused. The sexy times were sexy, for sure, but also pretty swoonworthy too. It was simply beautiful.

Summer Bennett is a romantic, she's helped many of her siblings find the one, but doesn't hold out hopes for herself after many failed attempts. She's content to lather her family with love and affection and spread the love where she can, including a group home where love is lacking. Enter Alex Westbrook he's a Hollywood heartthrob wanting to give back, he's nothing like Summer imagined and everything she could want, and Alex thinks the same of Summer, if only he hadn't signed a contract forbidding a relationship between them, or with anyone. Can they overcome the hurdles they face? Can love truly conquer all?

In the summer of 2017, I was introduced to Layla Hagen and her Bennett Family Series in a takeover Layla did in Brenna Aubrey's reader group on Facebook, and I am so grateful because this series has become one of my very favourites. Each book is different and stands by itself but is connected to the overall series. They're each beautiful, charming, funny and sexy. Every time I read (or listened) to a new one it felt like a visit from a friend, or better yet... family. I felt like I was made a part of their family, an honorary adopted Bennett if you will. Which makes this review extremely bittersweet for me, I wanted to read it so bad but at the same time I wanted to make it last, I knew Summer's book was going to be the last in the Bennett Family series, but still, I hoped I wouldn't have to say goodbye to them.

Layla's writing is captivating and even though I've just finished I want to reread/ listen to them all again. And you know what? Once the final couple of books are out on Audio that's exactly what I'm going to do, have a listen from the start and spend more time with one of my favourite fictional families. In fact, I might even try to rope Marta over at Mammie Babbie into doing a buddy read with me - well, she can read, and I'll listen. It's how our buddy reads usually go. This was the perfect way to finish the Bennett Family series. It was everything I hoped it would be and so much more. It was sweet and beautiful. Light-hearted. light on the drama - a little misunderstanding that was sorted almost straight away. It was just beautiful.

Alex, swoon, let's just talk about him for a quick minute. He is all the things. If you're looking for a book boyfriend that will treat you like a queen and sweep you off your feet you need not look any further, Alex Westbrook is your guy. He's sexy, man, is he sexy. He has that Hollywood charm down to an art, but he isn't arrogant with it. He made a decision at the start of his career that wasn't the best and now he has to fight and risk losing everything to keep the woman he loves... and he will because that's what heroes do. I adore Summer Bennett, she's always been one of my favourites throughout the series and I was so excited for her to get her own happily ever after. She is such a sweetheart and knows how to handle herself. I don't think Summer is ever happy unless she is helping someone. It was so lovely to see someone in her corner and taking care of her for a change. I don't think the steam level was as high as previous books, but it worked for these characters, everything about them was sweet and thought-out. Gentle and respectful. Their relationship and its progression were simply beautiful.

Let me just take a moment to give a high five to Audible. I love LOVE that they're giving audiobooks a bigger platform to get seen. I know myself and many audio listeners are loving the Audible Original series. I'll admit that I always thought I wasn't much of a fan of celebrity narrations, however, the ones I've listened to so far have been wonderful and it's really helping to get the world of audiobooks out there to the masses. So, Yay!!! (Now let's get the gifting option sorted, yeah?)

Lauren, Lauren, Lauren why do you do this to me? Just when I think things can't get any better, that I've reached the peak of Lauren Blakely goodness do you surprise me with the beauty that is Wanderlust. I think this might be my favourite Lauren Blakely book to date. I wanted to finish it, to know how it ended BUT I also didn't want it to end, it was such a beautiful story. I may have thrown my phone at one point (it landed on the sofa, I'm not THAT crazy!) because I was in tears and cursed LB because I'd done so well not getting emotional throughout the story, but then she hit me with it. I should have known it was building up to it, but, nope, I was caught off guard. I also laughed... out loud... in public. The strange looks were worth the enjoyment of the story though. And let's not forget about the swooning.

In full disclosure, when I heard this story had a British hero I had my reservations. As a British woman I don't see the appeal of the British hero, but of course, Griffin had to prove me wrong, because I saw his appeal and I loved it. Also, I'll be the first to admit, I'm judgemental, I do the whole rolling my eyes thing when I hear an American author is writing a British hero, because, you know, it's not all bloody this and that, and drinking tea. Well, I am super happy to report that Lauren NAILED the Britishness of Griffin's character, ok, I still wish he wasn't a tea drinker, but, that's a pet peeve, overall, he said and did things that you'd find any Brit doing. Which was refreshing and made the experience of this book so much more than I ever imagined it would be.

This book is filled with wonderful characters, I can't be the only person hoping for a spin-off for some of the friends - one couple in particular, or maybe Joy's sister. Joy and Griffin are such a delight. They have a zest for life that cannot be ignored, it was contagious. Let's start with Griffin, swoon, yes, I just swooned over a British character, it's like I don't even know myself anymore, but Griffin is that swoon-worthy that it cannot be helped. I loved his attitude, I loved his backstory, I loved how suave he appeared. But, I also loved his vulnerability it added to his appeal. Joy, she is the sweetest thing, I loved her so much, one of my favourite heroines ever. The way she experienced everything was intoxicating. I loved that she didn't hold back, and she had a wicked sense of humour.

I feel like Paris was a character all of its own too. Paris has never appealed to me until this book, now I'm looking up hotels and flights and my husband is wondering what is going on, but also happy he gets a holiday out of it. It was such a beautiful setting for this book. It really made the romance come alive and allowed the readers to get lost in the beauty of it all. I think setting the book in Paris was quite genius, I think most of us have been to a place where we've felt out of sorts, wanting to fit in and just not having the skill to do so, it's not always about language but that is such a perfect example and used throughout the book which gives the listener that connection to the character of Joy.

The banter between the two of them was perfection, and just the right amount, the passion, sheesh, talk about melting those headphones. I loved that it was more of a slow burn relationship until it hit that one moment when they just couldn't hold back anymore, and boy did they not hold back. The emotion of the story is truly what held my attention and had me listening long into the night. I don't want to spoil anything, but the last few chapters are worth a credit alone, although without the build-up it wouldn't have the same impact, just trust me, it's worth it, and it is BEAUTIFUL!

This was a dual narration with Grace Grant and Richard Armitage, I really feel their voices complemented each other. They both performed the entire book brilliantly, especially considering the array of accents within the story.

I need to talk about the amazingness that is Grace Grant, seriously, she was perfection as Joy. She nailed every aspect of the character, I also have to say I felt she did a wonderful job on the British side of things, it's not easy to pull off a convincing accent, but she does, it isn't over-played, which I think helps, it was subtler. And I loved it. I just love listening to her, I could do it for hours, oh wait, I did!

Richard Armitage was a perfect Griffin, I was on the fence, to begin with, as noted above, but he really performed him beautifully, the vulnerability side of his character really shone through. Obviously, having a Brit perform a Brit was the best choice, even though the bulk of the story included the correct usage, still nothing quite like hearing those words from a native (so to speak). Please, please everyone take note of the pronunciation of the word twat, this is important. It loses all meaning when you say it wrong.

The production was lovely, with no issues. The music at the beginning and end of the audiobook really set the feel for the book, although, I do wish it had ended or the volume decreased before the narration started as it was a little distracting, especially during Grace's performance. There is an interview with Lauren Blakely at the end of the book and it was lovely, her passion for the book, and for audiobooks in general really showed.

When Zach helps a girl out at a party he's at the last thing he expects is for her to turn out to be one of the graduate students he's mentoring this year. But she is, and he can't help how he feels. Poppy has more at stake than just her schooling, but Zach is persistent, which isn't helped by the fact she can't stop thinking about him. And the mystery person that is sending her love poems. Can they overcome their differences and be together, or is their relationship to forbidden?

Kendall Ryan knows how to grab my attention, she is the mistress of the sweet, sexy alphas and Zach didn't disappoint, although, he is different to any of her other characters that I've met. He might be right up there as one of my favourite book boyfriends. I need more Kendall goodness in my life, her writing never fails to make me laugh, make me swoon, and make me sometimes curse. All the marks of a fantastic story, if you ask me.

This cover, swoon, I love it so much. It's Zach, for sure, just how I envisioned him, and the little note with the narrators' names on the audio edition is perfection and goes with the theme of the story.

I listened to this book in one sitting, once I started I just didn't want to stop. These characters were so likeable and a joy to spend time with. Even the supporting characters. Cody and Jodie were fun.
Zach, sigh, Zach, he was so lovely, I fell for him right along with Poppy. He was charming and sexy. Sweet, kind-hearted and swoon, that dirty talking man has it all. Poppy was such a sweetheart, she knew what she wanted and was determined to do it. I loved that about her, she had some extra issues that I wasn't expecting but that just made her even more amazing, I loved her. Girl crush alert.
Zach's mom is such a joy, I'd love for her to have a story, maybe a novella, that would be cool, she was such a hoot. I laughed at loud on more than one occasion.
I loved the progression of their relationship, they had to work at it and it all felt very organic and real to life. They had a couple of stumbles but no major meltdowns which is a nice change of pace, compared to my recent listens. The sexy times, holy, pass me a fan, talk about melting headphones. I knew that dirty talker Zach wasn't all talk, he couldn't have been and thankfully he walked the walk too. I liked that although there were aspects of the forbidden in their relationship it wasn't the primary focus and didn't really play that much of a deal breaker in their relationship. This is such a sweet, sexy story. I loved that it was more of a slow burn. There wasn't a lot of angst and it was really quite charming.

Andi Arndt and Sebastian York's voices blend really well together generally but on this production, it seems even more so. They really complement each other. The performances were stellar as always. I really enjoyed how they both portrayed Zach's mom who was such a fun character. The sexy scenes are performed brilliantly, and the emotional scenes were delivered with such conviction that as a listener you can't help but come engrossed and invested, it's really such a beautiful experience. Their voices sounded a little different in this book, maybe a lower register? Or maybe it's been a while since I've heard them together, I dunno, I'm weird, it sounded spot on though. The production was smooth and enjoyable with no noticeable issues.

Nicole Garcia has done it again. I love her words, the way she blends serious subjects with humour and light-heartedness really works well. I couldn't help but love it. Her writing always captures my attention and my heart. This book was sweet and charming, and emotional. But it was also hilarious. And steamy, oh yes, the steam was there, not that I ever doubted it. This is the perfect single mother story, I haven't read many, all the single parent stories I seem to come across are single fathers, so this was a nice change. It doesn't sugar coat Madison's situation, she's a struggling single working mum and that shows throughout the story, which only made it more real.
The cover? Holy hotness. I love this cover so much. Especially the gift tag with the narrators' names on the audio edition, that was such a cute touch.

So many wonderful characters in this book. I loved them all... except for Mitch, he's not nice at all, I hated him.
Ryder is all the things. I want to know why my delivery guy is nothing like him. He's funny, charming, sexy and caring. The way he is with Mads children is just swoon He's the type of guy every single mother hopes they will meet.
Madison is such a sweet woman, she's got so much going on, it's a wonder she's even functioning. But she is, and she's caring for her boys and doing all she can, it's beautiful. I was so happy to see her open herself up to some happiness with Ryder.
The children are the cutest things, especially Aiden, he plays such a pivotal role in their story and I loved how that was conveyed. Oh, oh, and Tyler, he needs a HEA too, he is the sweetest and funniest person ever. I think we all need a Tyler in our lives.

I loved how their relationship built and progressed. It was beautiful. Ryder at first was just into the pretty woman he'd met, nothing wrong with that, but once he spent a little time with Madison it was obvious he was falling for her and her kids. Madison tried to fight it but thankfully Ryder was persistent, and he worked his way into her heart. The children played such a huge part of their relationship and the way that was handled was perfection, the worries Madison had made perfect sense. It didn't stop me from cursing her though. The little angst was suited to the story and thankfully didn't last too long.

I do love a duet narration and Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross always deliver. Always! Their voices blend so well together, I was definitely looking forward to hearing how they were going to perform these characters and they were perfect as Madison and Ryder. Wen also did a brilliant job voicing seven-year-old Aiden and I must say, it was those scenes, between Ryder and Aiden that I had the most reactions too. It was just beautiful. Emotional, but beautiful. Kai, I adored how she chose to voice Madison, it was a little deeper than I'm used to hearing from her and it worked really well for the character and showed another side to her talent. As for the steamy moments, sheesh, can these two perform a sex scene with conviction. I listened to this audio in a day, I just couldn't put it down. The production was fine with no issues.

Peep Show isn't your usual romance book. There are elements to it that pushed my boundaries as a reader, parts that made me think I was going to have to stop and move on to something else, but I persevered and I'm glad I did. This book is not for the faint-hearted.

I didn't really connect with Bebe and I didn't find her that likeable until the last few chapters, but once I did, they completely made up for it. Miles, I loved from early on, apart from one decision he made but it was obvious he realised how messed up it truly was. Each chapter has a word or phrase definition and I thought that was very unique and effective for this story. Miles has some health issues that some people would find hard to handle and I thought it was written beautifully and with a sensitively borne from experience. I'm so glad this book was in alternative POVs as without his inner thoughts I don't think it would have been as understandable and convincing as to what was going on. I loved Arden, I thought she was a wonderful character and I'd love to see more from her.

The progression of their relationship was beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. The majority of the sex scenes were hot as Hades, Isabella really knows how to steam up a kindle but also worm her characters into your head and heart. Is this my favourite book from her, no, is this a book that'll stay with me for days, maybe weeks after I've finished reading it, absolutely. This book will make you think, it'll keep you guessing and it'll make you emotional. Get ready for one wild ride!

I'm not one of those people that believes a trigger warning should be issued if a book contains cheating, but I also don't seek those types of books out either. I went into this book with my eyes wide open, I knew it contained cheating before I started but, I was intrigued by the synopsis enough that I wanted to give it a try. Plus, one of my trusted book people has been shouting about it, so I knew she wouldn't steer me wrong. And, sheesh. All. The. Feels. Ella Fields, yet another author that has been hidden from me. What the heck, guys? Why? I'm totally blown away by what I've just read. I do not remember the last book that had me this invested in the characters and what would happen next. I swore.... a lot. I wanted to throw my kindle on several occasions, I chuckled, and I shed a few tears. Ella is a queen! Her writing just draws you in and keeps hold of you. Making you feel things you don't want to, making you think things you never thought you would, and making you question everything you thought you believed. I'm still in awe and I can't stop thing about the book, I can't move on to anything else. Ella has broken me. In the best way possible. I know I'll be spending time with these characters again.

These character, Gah! I had so many different emotions throughout this book when it came to the characters. I adored Daisy and Pippa. At times I wanted to smack Quinn in the face BUT, he did win me over in the end. I was unsure about Callum, but it didn't take long before he found a place in my heart. Alexis? I don't remember the last time I disliked a character as much as I disliked her, in fact, I might even go as fast as to say I hated her. I'm pretty sure I was supposed to feel sorry for her, but I just couldn't. The things she did, the way she acted. No! I really hope there are plans for books for Callum and Pippa, they both need to have their stories told.

The connection between Daisy and Quinn was beautiful and you could feel it, it jumps out from the pages and hits you. The chapters that showed how they were when they were younger really added to this story, it gave them depth and allowed us as readers to connect to them individually and see their growth as people. Seeing them through the years and their connection, it really makes what happens gut-wrenching and heart-breaking. I felt everything. I'm still feeling everything. These are not perfect characters, they make mistakes, but they own them. They're not intentionally malicious, they're young and finding their way. The epilogue, man, it is just perfect, everything you could hope and wish for as you read this story. This is a second chance romance that will have you reading well into the night and reminding you why you love to read, especially the romance genre.

Holy Crap! L.J. Shen is trying to kill me. I've read (actually listened) to a couple of her books, and so I thought I was prepared. I. Was. Not. Vicious has just been kicked off his arsehole mantel. Alex is now firmly seated there, and he has no intention of moving. This is my favourite read of 2018 so far. It has everything I could have hoped for and more. This book gave me all the feels. It was written so beautifully. It felt very poetic. There were a few twists that had me sat there and just WOW, I did not see them coming, at all. I ALWAYS see them coming, what is this madness? If you like arsehole characters, this is the book for you. If you like your female characters with a backbone that takes no crap, this is the book for you. If you like books that make you feel, this is the book for you.

Alex and Indie are EVERYTHING! Their relationship was so beautiful, watching it build from nothing to something was an incredibly rewarding journey. One I loved so much that I cannot wait to do it again. At times I wanted to hug Alex, and at times I wanted to smack him in the head. He could be so sweet and then his arseholery would show. Then his vulnerability would surface again, and I'd feel for him. He's the type of guy that you can't help but swoon over but then you feel just a tiny bit guilty because, you know, females need to stick together and support each other, but yeah, he's irresistible. I have a total girl crush on Indie from her first meeting with Alex I just fell in love with her. The way she didn't back down. Go Girl! She's a spitfire, but she is sweet with it. The type of person you'd want to be friends with. The build-up to them getting together was perfectly timed and paced brilliantly. The passion was so believable and once it happened... get that fire extinguisher ready, sheesh, smoking hot doesn't even begin to describe it. There is some angst, I may have shed some tears (Dammit LJ), especially since some of those tears involved an inanimate object...I'm weird, deal with it. Once you read it, you'll get it. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, and I hoped. Yep, all the feels and more.

Now I need to talk for a minute about the fact that Alex and his band are British. Yes, this requires its own paragraph, this is something that is a selling/ or non-selling point for me, being British and all. I often read books or listen to them, with British characters from non-British authors, and honestly, the characters don't sound particularly British, they sound like an American's interpretation of a Brit, in my opinion. Nothing wrong with that, I've enjoyed many a book with characters like that. However, this book? This book didn't have that issue, from the first page Alex's Britishness was evident but often subtle. The odd word here and there, references and such. It wasn't just, let's drink tea and say bloody, and bollocks. I'm not knocking authors that do that, but it was refreshing to become so engrossed in a book and the characters, and not get pulled out of the story to think ‘huh, we don't all say or drink that' at times, I actually forgot that L.J. Shen wasn't born and bred here, and that is a mark of a fantastic writer.

Alex Parker works for a shadowy government agency as an assassin. He doesn't like it, but it's a commitment he made. When he meets Mallory Rooney, an FBI Special Agent with a haunted past, he falls instantly in lust, but when she starts investigating a potential vigilante - him, he's ordered to keep an eye on her. He gets closer than his bosses ever imagined, and their feelings become so much more than lust. When Mallory's life is endangered by the same person that abducted her twin sister 18 years ago, Alex will stop at nothing to keep her safe. But with all the lies, can they ever make things work?

I really enjoyed Toni Anderson's writing, it was captivating. I listened to the book in one sitting, once I started I just couldn't bear to stop. I wanted to know what was going to happen next. It had more of a thriller feel to it than a romance, don't get me wrong, it did contain plenty of romance so all you romance junkies will be satisfied, and just in case you're wondering, it had some steamy moments that romance lovers are going to swoon over, but it's not the primary focus of the story. I love a bit of a mystery and wondering when the main characters are going to figure stuff out, so I really enjoyed that aspect of it. I'll definitely be listening to more in the series. If you like Criminal Minds? I think you'll love this book.

The main characters were very likable. I thought Mallory was a strong woman that had been through a lot and kept going, she never gave up. She ignored the horrible things that people said and did around her. I don't know how she did it. I wanted to punch a couple of people on her behalf. Her sense of justice made her feel very real and the conflict she had. Alex was a wonderful character, he was riddled with guilt and his inner demons, but he fought them and did what he felt was right. He's the type of hero that blurs the lines between good and bad a little, but not an anti-hero. He was a man making the best out of his situation. I liked the way they gave each other something that they didn't realise they were missing. Watching them come together and their relationship bloom was interesting, mainly because of them really being on such opposite sides of the law. Their relationship was sweet and that contrasted well with the horrible things that were eluded to in the book.

Eric G Dove is a dream. I loved his performance, it was riveting. I was hooked. His characterisations worked well, and each character was distinct. He conveyed the emotion the characters were feeling and the inflections he used really gave the performance that much more power. I will be looking for more of his work in the future. The production was fine with no issues that I could tell.

Brady Shepherd is exhausted, he's burning the candle at both ends trying to keep everything together. Until one night when a phone call changes his life completely. Now he's heading to Texas to settle his brother's estate and care for his baby niece, with the help of his sister-in-law's best friend, Katherine. Katherine Duran is riddled with guilt over the loss of her friends, the least she can do is care for their baby girl and help Brady for a few weeks, but with the attraction building between them it's only a matter of time until something happens, can a short fling remain that? Or are things about to get complicated?

Let me start with a little backstory, please bear with me. I was added to Lex Martin's group on Facebook recently by a friend (she had my permission because permission before adding to groups is everything!) and I said she's an author I'd get around to reading eventually, you know how it is. Well, a post was made in the group about how the book Shameless was on sale and I thought perfect, I'll grab it now and get to it when I can, turns out I already owned it, judging by the dates I bought it on release day in 2016, but what I did find out was that it had a great whispersync price, so I grabbed the audio and decided now would be a great time to finally dive in.

Good Heavens!!!! What took me so long? This book was all the things, all the emotions. I laughed, I cried. Gah! I loved it so so much. I listened to it in one sitting, I just couldn't tear myself about from their story. The writing style was lovely and easy to listen to, the storyline is one I adore, who can resist a single parent/ guardian story? Not this girl! I liked that although it's a storyline that's been done before this felt fresh and different. I was captivated from the get-go. I can safely say that I will be eyeballing the next book because the audio wait is just going to be too long (don't worry, I'll still listen to the audio once it's available). I need more. I really love the cover, I think it shows emotion and tenderness, the only thing that would have made it better would be if the audio edition included the narrators names. Also, my dears, if you haven't read Lex yet and have access to the romance package on Audible, all but one of her titles are available through it. I've just borrowed three.

These characters. Oh, my word! Brady Shepherd is all the things. I have yet another new book boyfriend. Seriously, is there anything sexier than a tall tatted guy and a baby? Of course not! I was swooning from their first meeting until the last page. He's such a contradiction. The first chapter you really think he's a bit of an arse, but then once he arrives in Texas he's like a completely different person. He's sweet and caring, protective and understanding. Swoonworthy. His interactions with Isabella are perfection. Farm life suits him. Katherine Duran is a sweetheart, her guilt is understandable. Her reactions to certain things are to be expected, I didn't want her to react that way, I may have shouted at her a bunch, but I did understand it. I don't always take to female characters straight away but with Kat, I just loved her. The sweet quiet girl who can be dirty. She is such a lovely person, smart, and funny, sweet and sexy, no wonder Brady falls for her. I might have a girl crush too.

The build-up of their relationship is cute, the way they try to resist each other and how they're feeling, it has a very real free to it. I enjoyed that the conflict was mainly internal for them, sure they had their moments, it wasn't all sweetness and light, but, it wasn't overly angsty. I really liked the mixture of fade to black and full-on sex scenes, it had a nice balance. The sexy times were scorching hot, I'm talking melt your earphones type of levels here. The humour had a great feel to it, it was a wonderful blend with the sadness both characters were experiencing. The loss this couple endured was a huge part of their story and made their relationship all the more special for how they dealt with that loss and the comfort they were able to offer one another, but, it also became so much more than that. As a reader/ listen I love when I can see something the characters can't, and this book has that in spades, it was obvious to us how they felt and what could happen for them, but they took a while to get there. The banter between the characters was believable and worked for them. It was sweet. The interactions Brady has with the animals was freaking hilarious, but more so because Kat's were so different. Gah! I just cannot get enough of this couple.

This dual narration was fantastic. Both Brooke Bloomingdale and Stephen Dexter are new to me and I'll definitely be looking out for more of their titles in the future. I was engrossed in their performances, once they hooked me I couldn't stop listening, and kept going until the end. An all-nighter well spent. They really delivered brilliant performances and expressed the emotions the characters were experiencing well. The humour was delivered in a way that was subtle and worked with the aura the author was creating. The funeral scene was both beautifully performed, and heart-breaking. Each character was distinct, and the accents were done well, however, this is just a tiny thing but something I noticed was the difference in accent between narrators, not so much the southern accent but the Bostonian – it wasn't enough to interfere with my enjoyment, but it did take a little getting used to the change from one POV to the other. I really liked Stephen's female voices, in fact, I had to double check at first that this wasn't a duet. The production was wonderful with no issues that I noted.

*Full crazy review on the website.

Jones Beckett is cleaning up his act, long gone are his party boy ways. In order to help him stay on the straight and narrow his agents asks the Renegades publicist, Jillian to help. Jones is over the moon at the prospect of spending time with Jillian, his favourite past time is flirting with her. What neither of them really considered was the effect working in close proximity would have on their unrequited attraction. But what happens when they realise that attraction is mutual?

Lauren Blakely has done it again! I have fallen in love... again! Is there a book boyfriend of Lauren's I haven't fallen head over heels in love with? I don't think there is. She just has this way with her male characters. I am a huge fan of her male POV, are we sure she's not a man? She always gets it so spot on. That being said, I really loved that this book was a dual POV, getting insights into both Jones and Jillian really made their story stand out. I love the way Lauren writes, it always makes me feel such a vast array of emotions. I swoon often, which is a given really, sometimes even shedding a tear or two, and laugh, oh boy, do I laugh. She is hilarious, the thoughts and situations these characters come up with. I read this book and devoured it, I was hooked from the very first page, so much so, that I couldn't pass up listening to the audiobook when it released today. I liked the cover a lot, especially the audiobook cover's inclusion of the narrators names. I like that it's similar to the MVP cover but still distinctly its own. Although it is a sports romance you don't have to be a sports fan to enjoy it. This is a story about love, a story about family, and a story about following your heart.

Jones is all the things. He is sweet and sexy, funny and charming. Jillian is the ultimate professional, she's the person you want on your team. As a football fan, I'm telling you, I want Jillian taking care of my guys. I loved that her outward appearance was the total opposite of how she really felt, especially where Jones was concerned. Her inner monologue was hilarious. The sexy times were timed so perfectly for this couple, they suited the story and the situation. They were steaming too. The way their relationship progressed was so very J&J. The way they tried to fight how they felt and neither knowing the other shared their feelings. There wasn't a lot of conflict, which again, I really liked. The banter was pure perfection, I love that anyway, and Lauren Blakely always writes the best banter, this couple was no exception.  I looooove these characters. Jones and Jillian, it even has a nice sound to it, right? The supporting cast (so to speak) is really fun, too. It was great getting to have that little catch-up with Cooper and some of the other guys... and women from MVP. The family aspect of this book was a wonderful addition, it's something that we see a lot of from athletes and including it for Jones' really gave an added dimension to his character. Cletus, oh my word! Yes! I adore him so so much. I want him in my life.

I've spent the day listening to this dual narration and I have no regrets. I was so excited when I heard Most Likely to Score was going to be from a dual POV, Zachary Webber was fantastic performing Most Valuable Playboy, but getting both POV's for this book was a great idea. Once I heard Zachary would be back and Andi Arndt was with him, I was super excited, their voices blend so well together that each book really is perfection. Both Andi and Zachary have a great range and each character sounds distinct and individual. Their performances always bring all the emotions to the surface, I can't help but react, whether that's laughing, swooning, or even shedding a tear. I couldn't imagine anyone else narrating Jillian and Jones. The production was smooth with no issues, I loved the cheering and football sounds at the beginning and end of the production, it gives it a nice flair.

*At the end of the audiobook is an excerpt from Hard Wood, narrated by Sebastian York – I've listened to this book and let me tell you, it's fantastic, you've not heard anything until you've heard SebYo narrate a cat. If you need more convincing, listen to the excerpt, it'll whet your appetite.

This review is going to be short and sweet. I've really struggled over this review, I know what you're thinking (maybe) usually if I struggle it's because I didn't connect with the book right? Right! Except, that isn't the case here, I loved this book so much, but, I don't want to give anything away and spoil it. It's so hard to do with a book like this. So short and sweet it will have to be.

Noely Clark is looking for love and thanks to a new restaurant... with a twist, Going in Blind allows clients to be matched and go on blind dates, however, when Noely is matched with three potential dates, The Suit, The Rebel, and The Jock, she has a decision to make. Join Noely as she embarks on her search for love. Who is her perfect match, and will it be love at first sight?

Ok, who has been hiding Meghan Quinn from me? Seriously, this isn't funny anymore. You have to share the love. Three Blind Dates had me laughing out loud, it was such fun, I need to read... or listen to more from Meghan Quinn because this was such a fun experience. I loved the style and flow of the writing, it had me hooked. The storyline was interesting and kept my attention throughout. The twists were great, and I was kept guessing, even when I had the ‘I know who it is' thoughts but then something would happen, and I'd think ‘but maybe....' And then I'd go back to my original thought. It was so good. I love having those types of thoughts and reactions to a book. I really loved the cover, it is eye-catching and gives you an idea of the story. I don't think it could get any better.

These characters are fantastic. I love them all. Meghan asked each person to pick a team before they started reading, it was tough, but I chose #TeamSuit and although both the Jock and the Rebel captured my attention, I must say that the Suit held my heart from the beginning. I did swoon over all three of them though... I may have suggested she keep them all. Noely was just awesome, I adore her. She's funny and a little crazy but in a good way. I wanted her to find her perfect match and get her happily ever after. I so wanna go hang out with her and Dylan, they were a hoot.

Georgia Bennett is Somerton Security's go-to female operative. After a string of issues with clients, her boss gives her an ultimatum she must make a personal connection with this new client or she will lose her job. She's not happy, even less so when she finds out who it is. Nobody wanted the Parker Livingston assignment, he's difficult to work with, and he doesn't think he needs a bodyguard, but when he receives a secure coded message telling him to run, he knows it's serious. The tech genius and his bodyguard must join forces to survive, his brains and her brawn may be the only hope they have. What happens when that personal connection becomes more personal than anyone could imagine, and with danger and secrets at every turn, can their heat of the moment spark become something more, something solid?

I'm told this is Elizabeth Dyer's debut book and I'm in awe, she has earned herself a fan in me. Defenseless totally blew me away. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. It is a combination of everything I love in one tidy little package. It has action, it has romance, it has suspense and it has twists you won't see coming. I loved it so much that I've just ordered the paperback, and preordered Relentless, the next book in the series. It's one of my favourite books of 2017, it is definitely rounding the year out with a bang! I loved the writing, Elizabeth has a way with words that grabs the reader's attention and keeps it. She includes enough detail to paint a picture in the reader's mind but leaves enough to allow them to use their imagination too. I was on the edge of my seat more than once. I was hooked from the first chapter until the last. I spent a full day immersed in this story because I just couldn't put it down. I really like the cover, it's eye-catching and intriguing, the only thing that would make it better would be the inclusion of the narrator's name on the audio edition.

These characters are so good, I loved Georgia and Parker. I want to know more about the team, and about Isaac, and Ethan. Georgia Bennett is one badass chick. I loved her so much. I wanna be her when I grow up. She's strong yet has a vulnerability about her that Parker seemed to not only notice but nurture. When she lets her guard down she shows what a resilient person she is. I loved that she could handle herself and was the protector. Parker Livingston is everything. I love him. So much! He's a geek, but don't let that fool you, he can take care of business just as much, if not more than his military buddies. He's smart and charming, funny and strong, his vulnerability (which is different to Georgia's) is endearing and makes you just want to hug him... among other things. Together they are perfect. Sometimes you read a book and the characters have to work at it, at least in my opinion, but not so with Georgia and Parker, they were made for one another.

The relationship between Parker and Georgia is one that I loved. The banter was fantastic, I'm a big banter fan and they work it so well. It never felt forced or out of place. It fit their personalities well and what was going on around them. The sexy times seemed organic to them and the situations they were faced with, everything felt like it earned its place in the book. The relationship is forged in the heat of the chase, but it's steadfast. Even when they don't see eye to eye on a subject, they still always have the other person's best interests at heart, even if the other person can't see it. Sure, I may have shouted at Parker a time or two, and I may have wanted to shake Georgia, but rest assured the book has a HEA and leaves you craving more. I can't wait for more from Somerton Security. I wouldn't say it ends on a cliff-hanger, just that it gives you a lead into the next book, Georgia and Parker's story is complete.

Aiden Snow was the perfect choice for this book. Perfection, I tell you. The little nuances and inflections he uses in his voice really make each character stand out. I adored his performance of Parker, it was everything I could have imagined and hoped for when I read the synopsis of the book. Georgia sounded feminine, but it didn't sound forced, as can sometimes happen. Aiden has the perfect voice for the sexy times, no joke, it's enough to make a girl swoon... if one is so inclined. The emotion he put into some of the scenes was effective and possibly melted my heart a tad. Aiden is fast becoming one of my go-to narrators. He never fails to deliver a brilliant performance that captivates me and leaves me wanting more. The production was smooth with no issues at all.

I'm struggling a little with this review because I liked the story but there are aspects I felt didn't work as well as I'd hoped. If you go into this book suspending your disbelief then I think you'll do fine, and just to clarify, that isn't about the relationship but the circumstance. I just found it so hard to believe Cait was a virgin, especially with some of the bedroom antics, from her and the guys. I liked this story, it was sexy for sure, lots of sex in various combinations MM/ MMF/ MF/ MFM which I actually liked and it gave a greater feel for these characters and how they felt for each other. Cait, Matt and Tris' relationship was actually quite beautiful, I just felt that for three people that claimed to love one another from early on, they really tried their best to hurt them. Thankfully, they eventually came to their senses and the book does have a HEA. The characters were pretty likable. I liked that the book dealt with the prejudices of the people around them and the thoughts of the characters as well. I always love the love is love message.

Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross were fantastic. I loved their performances, they never fail to entertain, it's not just a read of the book but a full production. They fully capture your attention and engross you in the story, and this book was no different. The changes in tone and inflections for each character was brilliant. It was easy to listen to and follow. If you think reading the sexy times was hot, wait until you hear them. Narrator crushes for sure.

A sexy Brit and a sassy heroine, what's not to love?

Prince Charming is another fantastic book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is intense, it is sexy, it is everything you could possibly hope for from CD Reiss.

Like always, CD Reiss' writing has you captivated and on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next. She writes intelligently, making no excuses or explanations to her readers, she knows they'll understand because they're smart people. This book will leave you wanting more. Don't get me wrong, it's complete but you'll be so immersed in the story that you won't want to leave. Keaton and Cassie are a fantastic couple with a brilliant story. I loved them both so much. Neither are as they appear and that works so well. They'll keep you guessing and wondering. I liked their chemistry and felt like they were a good match. The sexy times were smokin' and suited their story perfectly. Once I started this book I just didn't want to put it down.I will say that, for me, I thought Keaton was a little too stereotypical British, but that's probably because I am British. I think Americans especially will fall head over heels for him.

I love this cover, it's understated, has a sexy suited guy on the front (always a plus in my book) and having the Union flag in the background gives someone not familiar with the story an idea that the guy is British.

You don't need to have read King of Code to enjoy this book. If you like things in order, read KoC first, Taylor and Harper (the couple in KoC) make an appearance, but it'll also work to go back to KoC after Prince Charming and visit them for their story.

I cannot wait for the audiobook release. It's going to be awesome.

Golden Czermak is a master! I love his writing, it grabs the reader and thrusts them into this amazing world and he doesn't let you leave. It's two days later and I am still in awe and not wanting to leave, I can't stop thinking about it. I stayed up all night listening. Golden has a way with his words that makes you feel everything, every emotion – it's horrible and beautiful at the same time. It's why I curse Golden so much throughout listening. I love when I can turn on an audiobook and get lost in the story and quality narration, that, is something that happened with this book. I adore this cover, it's one of my favourite covers of 2017 – it tells a story all on its own. I like that the audio cover is different but the same ensemble of characters. The inclusion of the narrators names makes me happy. Don't you just love it? The Secret Life of Cooper Bennett is a complete standalone, however, mention of certain things and a character or two may be familiar to readers/ listeners of the Journeyman Series.

These characters are everything! How can anyone not love them? They're sweet, charming and some are horrendous. Cooper Bennett, Billy Arnett and Alyssa Noble are wonderful characters. I loved them so much. The friendship between the three of them was beautiful. Each was strong in their own way. Cooper's dad made me so freaking mad, I swore at him more times than I am prepared to admit. Liam Manning and Lance Goddard drove me crazy, but I wasn't sure if I was misreading them, I ended up feeling bad for them. I love the detail and world building that goes into a Golden book. I loved the banter and humorous moments in this story, they really off-set the action. I laughed, and I cried, I gasped and at times I even got a little freaked out. It reads like an epic fantasy as opposed to romance, but fear not, there is romance too. I loved that about it. It has action, fantasy and an undercurrent story of romance that isn't an in your face love story – it's understated and works well in the overall story.

Wen Ross narrates a good 80% of this book, perhaps more. Ordinarily I'd say this book would have worked with a solo narrator and it would have, but the inclusion of Kai Kennicott was freaking perfection. Only a handful of chapters are from a female POV and the book doesn't have a whole lot of female characters, but the duet style of narration really worked and gave the narration a little flair. Wen was spectacular, I'm not a fan of the creepy Wen though, it worked, and he did it wonderfully but no! We like nice Wen, not creepy Wen! His characterisations were spot on and each character was distinct, and there are a lot of them. Kai was fantastic as Alyssa. The production was smooth with no issues at all. I love how their voices complement each other so well and the contrast of them.

Let me start by saying that I loved Heather Lyn's Hearts on Fire series it has everything a romance reader could want; swoon-worthy heroes, feisty women, a little angst, charm, and beautiful love stories. Fighting for Us is better! Sure, it has all the aforementioned components, but it also has something more. This book was special. Heather crafts a world in which you want to live. You want to be friends with these characters and spend time with them. She hits you with all the emotions and feels. This book deals with some difficult situations and I felt the PTSD aspect was handled with sensitivity and care. I read it in one sitting once I started I just didn't want to leave these characters. This cover is brilliant. I love it. It is beautiful, the lilies in the background are a wonderful addition that I didn't notice at first glance but work perfectly with the story. I like that it's understated and draws the reader in. This book shows the growth in Heather's writing and I cannot wait to see what she does next because if she keeps on this path she is going to be unstoppable.

These characters are fantastic, I love them so much. Levi is everything you could want in a book boyfriend. He is sweet and charming, smart and funny. He knows what he wants and loves deeply. He'll do whatever it takes to keep the people he loves safe. He isn't afraid to show his feelings. He is such a sweet daddy and the sort of father every little girl needs. Emerson is fantastic, I loved her so so much. I'm usually quite picky about the female leads and it takes time for me to warm to them but not Emmy, from the get-go I just adored her. She was the perfect match for Levi. She was funny and sweet, smart and feisty. She was a fighter, in that she fought for what she wanted and wouldn't let go. I adored her strength. She's the type of girl we all want to be friends with. Lily was the sweetest little girl ever. We see some support characters that will eventually have their own books (it's called The Jackson Trilogy, so it kinda gives it away, right?). It gave little glimpses into Caden and Sydney that left me wanting to know more. Ok, so I'm partial to Cade, he's just so dreamy. Seriously, I was swooning. Syd seems totally awesome too. Can. Not. Wait!

The relationship between Levi, Emmy and Lily is fast, and it works. Sometimes insta-lust/love doesn't, but for this story it is perfect. The slow burn wasn't necessary as they met and had an instant connection. I loved the inclusion of Lily in almost everything, she was such an integral part of their relationship, it was like Emmy was made to be her mummy which was sweet and heart-warming. The chemistry between Levi and Emmy was jumping off the page and kept me glued to their story. The sexy times were scorching and will leave you swooning and reaching for a fan. (Is it hot in here?) Each scene made sense to the story and felt like it earned its place, none of it felt like filler, which I was very happy about. Their relationship wasn't without its trials and angst. It was emotional and beautiful.
Side-note: The book contains some man on woman violence that may be difficult to read. I will say that I don't like reading about it, however, I didn't struggle with this book because it was necessary to the story and what comes after.

Louise Bay has done it again. I can't believe it's taken me so long to find these books. They're so good, I love her writing style and the affect the books have on me. I literally laugh out loud, cry and swoon, sometimes all in the same chapter. I loved the cover of this book, it's sexy, leaves a little to the imagination but also gives a feel for the book. The only thing that could have improved it, for me, is if it include the narrators names on it.

I loved these characters. Sam with his difficult past and watching him progress and grow and fall in love was beautiful. He has such a foul mouth, and I loved it. Grace was perfection, who doesn't love a female character that doesn't give up, she knew how he felt before he did and that was beautiful. Grace was strong and I love that in my female characters. If I had been asked at any other time if I found characters calling each other by their full name annoying, I'd have answered yes, however, it works, it seemed so normal for these characters and a sort of teasing of each other that I adored. It was great seeing Harper and Max again and how their relationship was continuing after their HEA.

I loved their relationship it was sweet and sexy. Boy was it sexy. Those sex scenes were enough to melt my headphones. If you don't like hot sex, you should probably think about choosing a different book. I loved how having a proper relationship was new to both of them and how they adjusted to dating and being a couple. I liked how Sam wanted to woo Grace, even if he didn't realise that was what he was doing. I understood his reasonings for pushing her away. Your heart will break for him. Thankfully Grace is made of strong stuff and keeps fighting, just like I knew she would. The progression both characters went through during this book was significant and was really the star of the show, it was beautiful to experience.

Andi Arndt and Sebastian York are a fantastic combination, their voices complement each other well. I love Andi, she is always on point and this book is no different. She had a couple of different accents that I thought sounded good and worked well for the characters. She was the perfect Grace. Every now and then I think I've listened to too many SebYo audiobooks and then I listen to something like this and I'm reminded why I enjoy his performances so much. I really felt he brought another layer to Sam Shaw, there is one part which is rather emotional, and the delivery was so superbly done that I had tears in my eyes. The production was great with no issues at all.

Graham Campbell is on a sex break his focus is purely on his business. Which is why he's heading to brunch with his best friend's little sister, CJ, to asks for a favour to help his business, he never expects that favour to come with stipulations, like CJ asking him to become her sex teacher. CJ Murphy needs help, she wants to become more experienced and finally get rid of that V card she's managed to hold onto for longer than she'd like. Who better, than someone she trusts and knows won't hurt her? But what happens when their educational agreement turns into something else. Something more?
I love Lauren Blakely's writing and devour her books, but Lili Valente is new to me, so I wasn't sure what to expect from this co-authored book, well, let's just say, I'm going to be looking out for more books by Lili. I loved this book. It was fun and sexy. It's a quick read but complete, it wasn't drawn out and it felt like the story had everything it needed, I didn't ever feel like I was missing anything. I hope Lauren and Lili decide to team up again because the finished product is addictive and enjoyable. With plenty laugh out loud moments. I loved the Die Hard references, I was chuckling away, because, let's face it, we've all quoted John McClane, right? The cover is great, sexy but not overly so, the inclusion of the narrator badge is perfect. I'd love to have Luna and Valerie's story.

Graham and CJ are fantastic, I loved them together so much, who doesn't love friends to lovers, right? Graham is your typical sexy alpha guy, who has a dose of cockiness, and sweetness about him. I loved that he didn't just dive in with CJ's request, he thought about it and even sought help from a friend but in the end, he cared enough to help her. CJ is one awesome chick, she's strong and feisty and knows what she wants. She hasn't had the easiest time, and I loved that she didn't come across as something being wrong with her because of her age, It was just something that hadn't happened for her yet, some of us have been there, and it was a nice change of pace to other virgin stories. The fact that they had a shared loss, and kept thinking about that for different reasons made them seem even more suited and added an emotional layer to their characters and relationship. The banter they shared was perfection, I'm a sucker for good banter, and they had it in spades.

The progression of their relationship was fast, I mean, it had to be, just look at the premise of the book. It's a one-week deal, so they had to fall in love within that time, with that being said, it worked. It didn't feel rushed, the way they started to develop feelings felt organic to them, and the experiences they were having. Let's not forget the super-hot sex, the sex scenes in this book are going to melt your device, and they work so perfectly with the story. Anyone else wish they had a Graham when it came time to lose that V card? No, just me? Crap! Erm, let's move on. I adored their friendship, and that it played a pivotal role in their story, they were still friends throughout and worried about that aspect of the relationship. Was I annoyed at their lack of communication towards the end? Heck yes! I was shouting at my phone as I read and later listened to them make assumptions, rather than just telling the other how they felt, for the record that part didn't change in the audiobook. (Don't tell Graham but I'm inserting an eye-roll emoticon here). Thankfully my shouting didn't last too long and their happily ever after started just as it should. The inclusion of the two epilogues worked really well, and I loved both of them, but that's all I'm going to say because I want you to experience them for yourself.

Sebastian York and Andi Arndt are probably two of the most popular voices in romance audiobooks, and for good reason. They nail it every freaking time, and this book is no different. I absolutely adored their performances. Both have a great range and change tone when switching between male and female characters, and always use inflections for the different emotions they are conveying. With this audio, I felt the inner thoughts of CJ were performed great, Andi really made those moments stand out with the tones she used. Sebastian's teacher mode was spot on the gruffness in his tone worked really well. The sexy times were pretty darn sexy, both Andi and Sebastian always deliver those parts of the book extremely well and make it seem even sexier... if that's possible. Having already read the book I can say that this narration team increased my enjoyment of an already fantastic book, however, their delivery took it to a whole new level and made it something special.
Side-note - this is just about preference, and not the narrators themselves. I wasn't sure how the pronunciation of Graham was going to go, here in England we pronounce it a little differently, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn't spoken in a way that was frustrating to me.Another side-note, included at the end of the audiobook are two clips from Lili, and Lauren's books – which take up around the last 15 minutes of the audio (at standard speed). Both audiobooks are available as part of Audible's Romance Package.
Excerpt 1 – Hot as Puck by Lili Valente. Narrated by Tyler Donne & Summer Roberts
Excerpt 2 – Most Valuable Playboy by Lauren Blakely. Narrated by Zachary Webber

If you've read/ listened to Right you'll know all about Sandra and Gabe, this is the story of their fling, how it came about and what happened next. Prepare to swoon.

This was such a cute little novella. I love that Jana Aston gave us this story. It's like she knew her readers would want to know what happened after that Christmas party. We need details. We're all basically Everly, wanting the deets. And because Jana is awesome, she gave them to us. It was cute, hot and sexy with a dose of humour. Everything you could possibly want in a novella. I have to say I adored Preston, I hope he gets his own little novella because that would be awesome. The cover is great, I loved the colour and a hot guy in a suit and glasses, sheesh, sold! I also love that both narrators are named on the audiobook cover.

I loved Sandra, she first appears shy but once she felt comfortable with Gabe she really opened up and became her sexy and sassy self, and it was wonderful. Gabe was sexy as all heck, no wonder Sandra spent her time fantasising about him. I can't really blame her, heck, I was right there with her most of the time. I loved his gruff exterior because it really contrasted with how sweet he was. There are a couple of moments in this book that just had me swooning, completely. Gabe really knows what he's doing in the bedroom department too, sigh, that man is sex on a stick. It's a novella, and only just over 2 hours long so lots happens in a short time but it worked really well and nothing feels rushed.

The narration was splendid, Erin Mallon always delivers, and this was no different, I adored how she performed Sandra she really brought out the shy and sexy personality. Lance Greenfield was a wonderful Gabe, he performed the older and gruff character well, the jealousy was believable. This is the first time I've heard anything narrated by Lance and I know I have a couple sat on my audible app waiting and I'm more excited to listen to them now. I thought Erin and Lance's voices complemented each other really well. The production was fine, with only an issue that seemed to occur on Lance's performance and not consistently, which was a strange sound, the best way to describe it is of lips touching and when I increased the speed a tad and listened again I didn't hear it at all.

Everly is obsessed with her brother's best friend, Finn, he is it for her. She has a plan, and nothing is going to change that. Until one day she meets her match in Sawyer, Finn's older brother, he knows all about Everly and he's about to turn the tables because he wants her and will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Can this be their happily ever after, or are they doomed to fail?

Jana Aston has a wicked sense of humour. I laughed out loud multiple times. She's hilarious. I may have shed a tear too, she has a great balance of funny and emotional in her books. I'm a lover of banter and this book has it in abundance. I love how Jana writes her books and hooks the reader, and even changes their mind about a character. It was fun to see a couple of moments from Wrong from Everly's perspective and to be introduced to some characters. The side story of Sandra and Gabe was sweet, and I was super excited to learn that Fling was their story, so once I finished Right I dived right into Fling. I love the cover, I think the bright background is eye-catching and having a suited guy on the cover doesn't hurt either. I think it's great that the narrator is named on the audiobook cover.

I have to be honest, I didn't like Everly to begin with. I thought she was delusional and quite frankly a stalker that Finn should have called the police about. However, she grew on me, the more we saw her with Sawyer, the more I liked her. By the end of the book I was loving her and wondering how I could get a friend like her, yes, I'm a mess. She was entertaining and always had a plan, she was determined and wanted the best for people, even people she'd only just met. How can you not love someone like that? I think it was an aspect to her personality that I was overlooking but when I thought about it, I kinda just nodded my head and said, ‘oh yeah' – full credit to Jana for creating such a complex character.
I really liked Sawyer, even though I wasn't sure how things were going to go, whether he was going to be mean and play with Everly, as a means of payback or whether he was serious, but once I realised he was just a nice guy, I was all in! I thought he was funny and charming. I liked that he was a happy guy and even when things got tough, he left that at the door (so to speak) when he was with Everly. It was very endearing. I loved that he wanted to woo her. Then when the twist happens, swoon. I think he melted my heart.

So, I thought their relationship was a little weird, but in a good way, the way they started out which was unconventional, to say the least, but soon progressed into something enjoyable. I liked the inside jokes they shared it lightened the experience. The twist was very well done, and I enjoyed that aspect to it. I don't want to say too much because you really need to experience it for yourself. It was super cute. Also, the fish, oh my word, the cutest. The sex scenes were on fire, I loved how they fitted with the story. What was really nice with this book is that although we get a tiny bit of conflict, it's over pretty quick and for all Everly's actions in the past she doesn't blow up with drama. Which was great character progression and I think that is when she fully won me over, how she reacted and how she was with the changes, it was beautiful.

Erin Mallon needs to narrate everything. My text messages, my emails, calls from my husband... all of it! Her male voice is perfection! You don't need two narrators when Erin is working, she's that good. Total narrator crush... if you can't tell. She was amazing as always and brought these characters to life. Her narration of Jack was the sweetest thing. I loved how she conveyed the

When professional football player, Camden Harris injures his knee at a match, he is rushed to the hospital where he meets Indie Porter, a distraction he desperately needs. He's going to undergo a new surgery that will have him back on the pitch in no time, a procedure that Indie is very familiar with. Doctor Indie Porter is the youngest person in her field and she'll do what it takes to prove herself, which includes not fraternising with a patient, but what happens when Camden turns on his charm and the chemistry cannot be denied?

Amy Daws knows how to write a fun, captivating story. Her characters are endearing, and cocky, and sassy. I just love them and the world they live in. The emotional moments and there are a few really give the book a little flavour, and it off-sets the humour. It's the perfect balance.

I have to say that I really loved this book and if I had listened to this book first, I'd probably have rated it 5 stars, but since I'm doing this backward way on, and I've already listened to Keeper, which I adored so much. I'd stay it's a solid 4 stars, I just feel that both the characters, the writing, and the narration have progressed. I have to applaud Amy on her audiobook cover, not only does she include the narrators names but also the type of narrations, I wish more authors did this.

Camden Harris is a charming, cocky, sweet man. I loved him. He has the best family, the way they are is crazy yet endearing. I loved it. He was also infuriating, I just wanted him to stop jumping to conclusions and talk to Indie, but then, I suppose it wouldn't have made for an interesting story lol. Although Cam is a cocky sod, he really has a sweet vulnerability about him that was endearing. I loved the relationship between Cam and Tanner, that was showcased really well, and I look forward to Tanner's story.
Indie Porter is a sweet and sassy woman, she's spent her life being kept at arm's length with her family and never really having any physical contact, so it's no wonder she is unsure what to do with Cam's affection or her feelings. I really liked her and thought she was the type of girl you'd want to be friends with. I liked that we got to see her friendship with Belle and how they interact and play off each other.

I liked the progression of the story and their relationship, it was fast but made sense. The conflict they experienced was almost entirely through miscommunication, which normally drives me crazy, but it made perfect sense to their story that I couldn't get mad at them for it. The sex was smoking hot and played a vital role in the story and wasn't done just for the sake of it. There is a scene towards the end when Indie finally lets herself have what she wants, and it was really beautiful to experience, especially knowing her backstory. They are such a cute couple that was made to be together.

This duet narration was brilliant. Martin Foster was fantastic as Dr. Prichard, he really delivered the smarmy doctor routine perfectly and it brought another level to the narration. Will M. Watt and Charlotte Cole were both fabulous, bringing these characters to life and using different tones and inflections for different characters and emotions. There was one scene in the hospital between Cam and his dad and I wasn't sure whether to curse Amy or Will, it was an emotional moment and the delivery was so perfect, I had tears in my eyes... on a bus! The production was great with only one tiny issue, a line repeats in chapter 10, but it is barely noticeable.
