I liked this book. The story of wardens and demons and everything in between.

Layla: half demon half warden
Roth: crown prince of hellZayne: warden
Layla lives in a compound full of warden. The wardens know know they are protecting someone but are unaware of who they are protecting and why. Layla is unique not just because of who she is but because of what she is capable of doing. Layla can see souls, but she can also take souls. Layla is in denial of her demon side, therefore to she helps the wardens get rid of demons by tagging them. Demons that are tagged by Layla glows for the warden to kill. On a day when Layla followed a demon into an alley, she got herself in a bind and this is when Roth shows up.

“I lost myself the moment I found you.”

Just ughhhh.

I am definitely TEAM ROTH all the way.

together together.

Sorry Layla.

What was up with the epilogue? Can someone please explain that? Elder Harcourt seems to have planned out everything from the very beginning.

As always, I enjoyed the interaction between Lily and Ezra. I LOVED how Ezra interacts with his daughter. I would like to mention that Pearl and Jack did not even show up in this book until much later!

I feel like the ending was just a bit rush with new characters, time travel, etc.

Lastly, what is up with that ending? Why are the laws still existing after all they've been through?!? UGH!

Not a review, just sharing my thoughts. I guess kind of like a comment?

Okay, it was such a slow, draggy start for me. It wasn't until halfway through the book that it actually got interesting. That ending though, really hoping for Evan to come out of that

Not really a review....

I just wanna say that ending put me to shock. I don't know how to recover from it, specially, since it is such a cliffhanger. I was sad, mad & devastated. I'm honestly still recovering from it

This isn't really a review, but just my thoughts :))......

Okay, I completely missed the whole story between Nadia and Luc x.x Honestly, I don't even know if I missed a whole series about them? Or it's just been so long since I've read the Lux series. Anyways, I enjoyed reading this one and I can't wait to read the next one! :D

Well that took me awhile to finish. I admittedly lost interest in some parts and almost DNF it. Glad that I kept on reading. I did not see that ending coming

Wooowww! I have truly enjoyed reading this book. I didn't quite like the narrative during the first few chapters. HOWEVER, the more I read, the more I got hooked! I got the hang of switching from Theo's narrative to Alicia's diary. I was intrigued behind Alicia's silence and boy was there some mind blowing events that just made me

So many questions still left unanswered. Is Daniel Crawford related to THE DANIEL CRAWFORD? And what about Felix? Was he really the sculptor?

I truly enjoyed reading this book, however, the first few pages did not catch my interest until after they explored the basement honestly. I definitely got really spooked while reading this book but overall loved it!

4.5 stars

Bittersweet Ending (in my opinion)

It took me awhile to get into it. But after a few chapter, you just can't stop flipping the page to find out what's going to happen next.

There were some flashbacks in between the stories. That gives you a little background of the characters.

I definitely shipped Noah and Jocey!

But I wonder why Georgie got so violent? Was it because of what happened at Sealed House?

Theres definitely some crazy revelations toward the end of the book.

I love it! I love the way it ended. I was so scared to start this book.

Oh my Dankmar, you sure are one heck of a deity. The devotion and love. I feel so bad for him going through that pain.

There were a few unnecessary things in the book like the whole Leif thing because he didn't have a role anymore really. Just a random appearance.

Also, the whole Jay thing was kind of messy since he “wanted” to be with her but he wasn't interested at the same time through his actions. But I guess he was needed to prove Pagan's love.

Speaking of Pagan, she sure is one heck of a strong soul. I guess it's one of those the heart wants what it wants.

Overall, it was a good read.

Well I finally finished reading this. It took awhile to get into it. Plus I was busy with school.
Anyway, this book is crazy! Scary at times. It did left me with some questions after reading it. However, it was a good read :) Was she really possessed? Or was she just extremely delusional?
Is Naida crazy as well?

At the end of it all, I'm like “what just happened? :O “

4.5 stars

I do want to read more books from this author

4.5 stars only because I lost interest somewhere in the middle.

Well I finally finished reading this book. I was surprise that this had 3 point of view. But it's nice hearing Xanders side.

So the rising finally decided to take over but there was no fighting against the Society AT ALL. Ky and Indie's relationship confused me a bit it was just so frustrating. Mostly I felt bad for Xander because he seems to the rebound guy or the second choice all the time.Which is sad because he is such a nice guy and deserves so much better!
People got sick from the plague and the book was basically about looking for a cure, which they did eventually found.

Ky and Cassia still together and Xander found someone the loves him although he seemed like a rebound guy because her mate died.

I'm so glad Verlaine got the love that she deserves. I was totally rooting for Asa and Verlaine the whole time!...

This was a great series, it took me awhile to finish the 3rd book but definitely recommend

It's been such a long time since I've read this book. J.K. Rowling did an amazing job throughout the series. Harry Potter series got me hooked into reading books.

It has been so long since I've read this book. I first stumble upon this book in wattpad and it was still free at that time.

All I know is that this book got me crying.I am glad I was able to read it BEFORE it was a movie and BEFORE I saw the movie.
